Jerry Orbach died! I'm so sad!

  1. He hadn't been looking too good the last couple of months on Law and Order, I guess this is why.

I thought dying of prostate cancer was avoidable.

He was one of a kind.

When I was about 10 yrs old, I saw him in 42nd St on Broadway. I was scared of him, because his character was so mean. Then he was Baby's father in Dirty Dancing. Mean then, too (until the end, where he said to her "you look wonderful out there, and apologized to Johnny).

As an adult, I finally appreciated his talent. I didn't even know he was sick

Prostate cancer has claimed my husband's uncle and his first took years, and years from diagnosis, but in the end they succumbed.

Jerry Orbach will be sorely missed. I've loved him as Lennie, in 42nd Street, in Dirty Dancing as the dad, in the Fantastics......Oh Lennie, we will miss you.

I remember watching his last episode of L&O. You could tell he wanted to cry when he did that last episode. I thought he looked ill.
So sad to hear he passed away.
