It's too freakin' hot...

  1. We rented some movies and are camping out in the living room tonight, it's the coolest room in the house by about 10 degrees. My a/c just isn't kicking as much booty in this heat.

So, what are you all doing to keep cool?

We went to our camp on the local lake tonight. My grandfather is up from Conn. and he stays there. So we went to visit. We all took seperate cars...thank goodness...It is nice and cool out there and we had a really good breeze on the porch. Kept the bugs away too.

During the day it is really hot (for maine that is) and I usually try to stay in the house or just go to walmart for the ac...I'm basically on the computer all day if I'm not out on the streets looking for a job.

Actually today was pretty nice, the high was about 83, humidity of 18%. Tomorrow will be a little different only supposed to hit 79....this is supposed to be the hot part of the year.

but, when it is hot, we head for the basement!

It's been hot over here lately..upper 80's and very humid-must be 15% humidity out there.
a good breeze through the pines helps though.

Living in this sweltering Texas heat and humidity, I would hate for our air conditioner to go out. I keep it running 24/7. Ahhhhhh......the only way I can survive in this state. I am SOOOOOO looking forward to leaving Texas behind us. I have never lived in such awful weather in all my life.

I've gotta get out of this place!!! It makes me wanna scream!!! I don't go outside unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. I hate to sweat.......I only like the sweat that pours from my man when.....oops.....shhhhhh...:kiss

Hi Kristi....sounds like a heavenly :kiss Thanks for the invite! I am for sure moving somewhere COLD when we leave Texas. My husband likes heat, and I love cold, so we may be having one of those "across the miles marriages".

Sunny southern California...about 90 miles north of L.A., so generally speaking we don't get temperatures much above mid-seventies, with a nice breeze. (We're on the coast) As I sit here it's probably 68-70 degree, with the tiniest bit of breeze...AAAHHH, I love it here!!

And you are always welcome in my town, Renee...
