Is it just my children........

  1. Can children sense when your in a bad mood? Do they then do all they can to push your buttons and take you to your limit? LOL. :chuckle My 2 year old just took his diaper off, proceded to poop on the floor than handed it to my husband. Which I have to admit made me laugh, when my husband started gagging. For some reason he dosen't find it as amusing as me!

Yes, and yes (in answer to both your questions). Toddlers are indeed a mystery to behold, and can come up with things parents never dream they could come up with. I've raised three kids myself, and now watch them raise my 12 grandchildren. Children are hilarious and unique at every age.

I remember one of my sons, while in the bathtub, saying, "Look Mommy. Look at this!" I looked over and he had a little erection. "Yes, that happens when it's rubbed," I tried to be so nonchalant, and not wig out (laughing or yelling!!)! Then I distracted him (I may have poured some cold water on him, I forget . . . )

I have two boys 22 y.o. and 20 y.o. and lots of experience with erections. My 3 year old found his penis early too . .. he has to "wear it down" in his underwear. For awhile there he always had his hands in his pants.

A couple of weeks ago at a softball tournament I glanced over at where my son was playing with rock behind some bleachers about 6 feet away and noticed him under the bleachers, pants around his ankles, pooping. Knowing my husband, I leaned over and quietly whispered "Don't panic, it is too late to do anything but look over there" pointing . . . .we both had to crack up. When we asked him why he didn't tell us he said he couldn't wait - it was going to come out in his pants and he didn't want to yell.

    Kids - God love em.

Kids are the source of love and laughter in my life right now. I have 5 grandsons, ages from college to kindergarten, I have stories that I would never tell, but they sure bring a laugh to me everyday. One thing for sure, it is never dull when these boys are around.
