Is Golf Great or What?

  1. After 20 years of begging, cajoling, pleading, and bribing, my hubby finally got me to play golf. He has now created a monster! I can't get enough. I started out thinking that it was just going to be a form of exercise for me, but now it is all I can think about! I can't believe I wasted 20 years!

I got the greatest book too. It is called "Venus on the Fairway" my Debbi Steinbach. It is really great and gives the best pointers on the physical part of the swing for females, since we have to use our hips to get power while men use their shoulders. LOVED IT.

I'm just excited, or can you tell?

I only wish I played 4 times a week, this year, I only got out a couple times. With three little ones running around there just doesnt seem to be as much free time as there used to be

But, on the bright side, I just got a new set of Clubs, My neighbor is a Titleist Rep, I got too good of a deal to pass it up. Now I have a good excuse for a winter golf trip

    I LOVE GOLF!

I just got a new set of clubs for my 22nd birthday. My Big Bertha is my favorite club, and it has a big St. Bernard as a club cover. To bad nursing school takes up so much time. I would rather be playing golf than anything else. I want one of the t-shirts that say "Golf is life, the rest are just details.

I don't love golf at the moment, but I am sure in the future sometime, my sweetie will get me into it. I have tried on numerous occasions. I just find it boring, probably because I am so bad at it.......I get really discouraged!

Steve (my bfriend) grew up in a small town and the golf course is behind the house, he used to work there when he was in high school. Steve and his whole family are big golfers, everytime we go to his parents now, they all golf and I ride the golf car.......not too fun after 4 or 5 hours!

I hope I end up liking it one day............

    Golf is life!!!

Hubby and I are moving to NC to abandon our snowy abode. We LOVE to golf more than ski sooooo...... 20-30 below zero is just too much

Also 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating is just too damn cold!

Golf ROCKS!!!!!!! Just another beautiful thing about the South.. You can just about golf year round. I'm like Brian, though, the influx of little ones has drastically cut my green time.
