Insurgents now have a US Marine... same threat being made

  1. According to Al Jazeer reporting, a US Marine has been captured/abducted...(not yet confirmed by our reporters or gov't.)... camp was infiltrated, Marine was lured outside.... Extremists want release of all Iraqi prisoners in jails/camps or the Marine dies.

    How sad.
When will these terrorists understand that we do not negotiate with them?

And do they really care? They're just too happy to kill another. :angryfire
Any excuse.. or not.. will do.

I am sick and saddened for this person's family and friends. It will never end, I am afraid.

I agree. They have seen all previous attempts at trading hostages for prisoners fail. There is no good reason for them to continue to takes hostages, other than to kill them.

I hope these poor people's deaths will at least serve some purpose. To illustrate to the world what the terrorists are truly about. I hope the beheadings keep moderate muslims moderate instead of being called to the dark side.

    I feel for the familes.

I wonder if the captors/extremists are Al Qaeda who beheaded Berg and Johnson. I'm praying for the safety of this Marine.
