In touch with my inner child

  1. My nephews were playing a game with large vinyl chair. The were running up to it real fast and sliding accross it and tumbling to their feet. I said "no, no, somebodies going to get hurt". Shooed them away. After they left I thought "that looks like fun, maybe I will try it". I am sitting here with ice to my elbow, I had to take my watch off cause my wrist swelled. It does not hurt to type thankgoodness. I tried it alright.

Don't feel bad. My daughter and my dog were out chasing each other in the backyard one morning. I thought I'd join in the fray and promptly slid on some wet grass and fell on my ass.

I SWEAR it is possible for a dog to laugh. I SWEAR it!!

I am constantly in touch with my inner child. I'm the one that starts the water balloon fights at family gathering, excluding of course the older members, I love to get down on the floor(watch those thoughts) and play "doggie" with my critters, I love to blow bubbles and sit me with the kiddies any day, they're the most fun!!!!!!!!!

The boys were "ramping" on their bikes (bicycles) and called out to me "Cmon Dad...try it." I got a good run up and wiped out real bad! They were rolling on the ground laughing. I'm glad I'm so entertaining.

Tomorrow I am going to the county fair for the first time in at least 8 or 10 years. I am going with my best friend since 9th grade. We have pledged to ride all the rides, go to the baby animal petting zoo, eat every sort of junk food we can get our hands on and generally act no older than 12 years old all day. :P

Then we're going to age just enough to hit a beer garden before we go see Earth Wind & Fire in concert.

Have a funnel cake on me, Stargazer!

When I first started yoga class, I was going along with all the moves until the leader went up into a backbend. I could bend like a bamboo shoot (up to and including putting my feet behind my head) but that hadn't been for a couple of years and I swear I thought I wasn't going to get out of that backbend. Instructor is encouraging us to hold the pose and keep breathing! Like I had a choice at that point!
Wow Stargazer! Sounds like an awesome day!

I tend to get in touch with my inner child on the go-karts

Me and my inner child make regular playdates. I take her out for drives and we have very lively conversations. The fingetpainting rocks!

Anyone seen my grasp on reality today? I seem to have misplaced it.

I still like to play Barbies...too bad I've got a son...but do have little sisters to play with

I also love to swing (on a swingset that is ) I find it relaxing to swing at night...When I lived at home the neighbors probably thought I was nuts...seeing a high schooler swinging in the dark :imbar but it's nice to enjoy the piece and quiet and the stars...and I like swinging better than sitting Ok, maybe I do sound like a weirdo...but the neighbors were definately the wierdest neighbors EVER, so I didn't care.

I don't have a swingset or playground at my new house, used to live next to the playground Guess I'll have to make the neighbors think I'm strange in other ways :chuckle

Went rollerblading with my kids in my hilly neighborhood. Going up the hill wasn't so bad, but I think I took out every mail box on the block when I went back down.

I knew you guys would have some entertaining post if I told you what happened to me. I love to swing on the swings also. It is the most relaxing thing.
