I'm proud to be a/an (fill in the blank)

  1. I just thought it would be interesting to have thread about what we're proud of being and why.

    I'll go first:

I'm proud to be an American because I am free to worship as I choose, speak as I choose, work as I choose, agree or disagree with the government, free to dress as I choose, free to listen to and watch what I want, read what I want and I have men and women who are willing to fight to defend all those rights and more.

So what are you proud of being why?

    Pam

P.S. Please note, this thread wasn't started to cause contraversy, discord or debate. It's simply a fun, getting to know one more thing about each other, so please no negative comments about any posts!

    I'm proud to be:

an American because for me it was a choice

a nurse because I can make a difference

a daughter because I am my parents' legacy

a wife because it means a man loves me

a mother because I can pass on my legacy

I'm also proud to be a nurse, because it means I can help and take care of people that can't help or take care of themselves.

I'm proud to be a Mrs. because my man loves me and I love him, and he is also a nurse who takes care of the ill and injured.

I'm proud to be a mom, because I see how well my two older boys have turned out and I know my younger son is well on the way to following in his brother's footsteps.

Let's hear from some more of ya!
