I'm back!!! I miss you guys soooooo much!

  1. I feel I have been off line too long.

I'm all moved in now. I really like my little house. It's kind of a mess right now, but I'm getting by. I have tomorrow off of work, so I'm going to spend it organizing my stuff.

My place is further from work than I had planned, but I find the walk back and fourth to work peaceful. It's about a 1.5 miles.

So did I miss any good posts?

    Hi Mandy,

Hope you are enjoying your independence. Do you have a bike to ride, it would be pretty quick, what happened to you getting your drivers license? Not much new here, hubby has ear infection and is driving me nuts with his whining and demanding constant attention, oh well.

Ive been spending most of the day emtying bags and boxes. Yay! I can see the floor.

I get so much time to thing now.

I'm graduating this June! With all the time to think now, I have made the decision to do something that I have dreaded for a long time. Instead of doing the little graduation ceremony for independant study, I have decided to walk with the whole class of 2003. I never wanted to, but I decided this is just WAY to important to me. Hey, and I might even go to the grad party at the high shool afterwards.

I know some of yo were concerned about me not socalizing when I'm out on my own. Well, I have gotten the opportunity to socialize way more, since I move. I have been going to dances, having people over, going to other people's houses, and doing the 17 thing. I won't be 17 long I only have 25 more days left til 18!!!!

Wow congratulations. Sounds exciting. You're only 17 and you moved out? And you work and go to school? That is SO cool. You definitely shouldn't miss your graduation, it's really something to be proud of. Nice to meet you and congrats!!

Can you legally move out at age 17 if you are not an emancipated minor? I thought you would be under your parents' responsibility until your 18th birthday. Could get you into some trouble.
