Ideas for a slumber party

  1. Hi everyone! My daughter's 12th birthday is coming up and she wants to have a slumber party with 6 girls invited. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas other than plenty of food and movies. I just don't want them to run out of things to do and get bored. It's been way too long since my last slumber party Thanks!

When we had a slumber party for my daughter, I got out my curlers, curling iron, makeup, fingernail polish, and dresses. We had a fashion show! :chuckle It was a real hit! The girls also sang and danced along to their favorite music! Make sure you have some fun cd's around and let them play the music loud and they will love it!

I keep telling myself "It's only for 1 night".

Thanks Lisa, she definately has enough make up and nail polish to work with.

Have you considered polaroid camera with instant pictures to create a scrapbook page? or go online to find simple crafts for all to do and keep as souvenir. They will have fun watching favorite movies and just giggling. Sounds like fun.

Someone I know recently had one for their daughter.
She went to Wal-Mart and got the stuff for the girls to do manicures and pedicures on each other. They have the little bottles of nail polish that worked great, were in great teen colors and were inexpensive.
She bought disposable cameras and let the girls use them so the birthday girl would have pics from the party.
She got one of those helium balloon kits from Wal-Mart, this was the biggest hit from the party.
The girls overnighted it in the family tent in the backyard which they loved. Course, this is rural Michigan.
    Hope they have fun. :hatparty:
