Looks like the bulletin boards are on a low right now. No fretting - all BB's go through times of high intense threads packed with lots of debate, opinions and...yes...flamming. Then there's times like this, where all is peaceful and calm.
OK...I'll admit it...I can't stand the peaceful and calm "lows".
What do you do to spice up your time here on the boards when threads and posts aren't as "savvy" ? What are your hobbies outside of posting here? Any other BB's (nursing or otherwise) you frequently post to?

Rebel, Frankie here. I haven't been here long, but there are quite a few controversial topics posted on the BB. I have found another just started with only 10 members - nothing happens, but the site is set up well and has potential
It may never take off, but...who knows. I have a controversial topic at work - we are moving next week - same bldg. but from floor 1 to floor 2 - the code cart stays on floor 1. The manager, a PharmD is refusing to get us a code cart. I work in an out patient infusion clinic. We have a pharmacy. We to give blood for all of the out patient transfusions for this medical center - usually 2-4 transfusion patients a day. We also give chemo, IVIGs, biologic/immunomodulator agents, and just a bit of everything - OH and lest not forget the fisrt dose antibiotics. So, anyway, we have been told "If you need the code cart, the receptionist or one of the nurses can go downstairs and get it". Now This is silly and unsafe. There is a code team that responds, but I really think (know) they expect to have a code cart upon arrival. So what do you think about this? I have lots of other controversial subjects about work. frankie
