I made a Boo Boo, can anyone help me fix it????

  1. I accidently deleted a PM, thinking I was hitting the print botton but seen too late that it was the delete button. I was an important one from a friend and Now I feel very stupid. Is there any way to retieve it, or is it forever lost in the twilight zone? It was received in the past week.

aww, Duckie! That's really too bad!!! I'm sorry for you! Well, maybe the friend will see this thread and re-send the PM to you.

Can't she hit "user CP", then above the Private messages line, hit "view all" and then hit "show messages from"?

I can retrieve messages from the beginning of my time here!

    Good-luck, Shygirl

But she specifically deleted it. You must never delete yours.

Try hitting Ctrl H and going through all the pages in your history.

Nope. I went through my history once specifically to see if they could still be read once they were deleted.

If you sent a message back to the person that sent you the pm it might be in the sent area? Possibly
    Sorry

Always a possibility. Being new, joey may not know his way around the site well enough to know that the messages are saved in his "Sent Mail" until he deletes them.

Well... I think I found the pm but I'm not sure if it's the right one? Giuseppe showed me to unclick the save copy and request read receipt...
Duckie if it's not the right one then don't worry about it! All it said was the same stuff I say to you over and over and that is Duckie, I LOVE YOU!
ps... guess who's getting their own phone line... Thank you Duckie and Warrior Woman! I appreciate it more than you know!
