I love my Swifter too! I heard they have a similar device for dusting but I have not seen it yet.
It's great when the kids do the housework, especially when they beg you to let them do it! Tom Sawyer method, LOL.

I just bought one of those Swiffer Dusters at WMart a couple weeks ago, and I'll never use anything else ! They are simply the BEST !!! It comes with a little handle you attach (snap on), then you SHAKE the duster a time or two (to fluff it), and then just dust away ! Love it, love it, LOVE it !!!

Geez, aren't we just so easy to please? Forget the diamonds and pearls, Honey... just buy me a Swiffer !!!

LOL, no I bought my swifter for myself, I never even heard of the duster but I will go to Walmart tomorrow and get one, I am hooked,. hehehehehe.

I got a beautiful pair of emerald and diamond earrings and a new storm door, which is what I really wanted, LOL. I guess this year I am just into house stuff.

I also have the mop and duster and love them, but my favourite 'toy' of all is the Steam Buggy. Use it everywhere on everything AND no more cleansers ever.

Originally on TV it is now available in stores.

My favorite valentines gift was a dustbuster the boys got me cause of all their spills. Since they're now teenagers, I make them suffer with a sponge mop and bucket for cleaning floors.

Haven't tried a Swifter yet. For dusting, though, I use one of those "micro-fiber" cloths... they really work well! They seem to have a really strong affinity for dust, and you can machine-wash them and keep reusing.

I had a Swiffer mop also but the wet pads had to be replaced 5 or 6 times just to mop my kitchen. And I have a large living room with wood floors so that meant even more. A friend got me a mop with a super absorbant sponge-like material that lasts forever and scrubs really really well. It has a handle which allows you to wring the sponge out easily without touching the wet sponge. I don't know the name of it but I like it much better than the Swiffer . .just because of how many times I had to replace the wet pads. At 6 dollars for 12 pads, that got expensive. I still use it for small spills or footprints.

I just used the Swifter duster today. It is awesome!!!! It has these little feather like things that work so good on blinds.

My favorite kitchen cleaning product is scrubbing bubbles. This stuff lifts stains out of the counters and floor. Just spray it on and in about 5 minutes that white foam lifts stuff right out. Keeps the fridge white too.

I've heard good things about scrubbing bubbles, too. Apparently it works wonders in the bathroom. But I don't know what it is--is that the brand name, Srubbing Bubbles?

It says scrubbing bubbles on the can. It's made by dow. Works really well to keep tennies white too. I hose mine down after work.
