That is so beautiful. I have tears in my eyes and chills down my arms. Lord bless all the men and women serving us in the military. My dear friend has a son in the Marines in Iraq. I added his name to the prayer board. Thanks so much for posting this link.

Great reminder! They are all someone's son, daughter, husband, wife, sister, brother.

The last pic with the soldier and the little boy in the corner did me in!!!

God bless our men and women in the military!!

This morning on MSNBC when they did the "America's Bravest", they showed a soldier that looked like he couldn't be a day over 12 years old. I always cry when they show that segment. I pray many times a day for their safety and safe return.

My heart breaks as I watch this video and listen to all too familiar words ... My husband is a soldier and soon will be off to some foreign part of the world that not even his family can know about, but in our hearts we know!!! My four sons stand strong and keep me grounded but in their eyes I see where this will lead...to a very long road of worry as they see their Dad as a HERO and want to be just like DADDY!!!
WE may not all agree with what is transpiring overseas but remember that these soldiers are doing their jobs and fighting for our safety..if nothing else support our troops and pray for all their safe returns!!! God Bless US All!!!!!

Awwww, not to worry about your friends son. Even though Maines are dying in Iraq now, I know the numbers are super-duper low in contrast to the danger. Your friends son is contibuting to history is incredably exciting which is to be part of a war. If your friends son could talk to his mom right now, I betcha heed probably be asking if his mom was all right and not to make him worry. :-)

It's very hard to watch that video without profound sorrow for all our sons and daughters who have lost their innocense with all the evil in this world. We can only sit by and support them and pray for their safe return. For it is their lives and committment and we are only their guides in this life anyway. Is it enough to say we're connected in our hearts...no, they HAVE our hearts don't they? God help and protect our loved ones!
Thanks for sharing this video, NRSKarenRN.
