I haven't done crap all day!

  1. OK, so I called off work today. Nothing major, just alot of emotional/mental stressors right now, and I didn't quite feel like it, ya know?

So I had plans for today. Get caught up on laundry and dishes. I bought some new Rubbermaid boxes and I was gonna revamp my basement storage system and do a little rearranging. Serious house cleaning. Put away about 2 dozen rolls worth of developed pictures. Go through son's closet and room and get rid of stuff he no longer wears, uses, plays with, or is already destroyed. Pay some bills and balance the checkbook. etc, etc, etc...... all that therapeutic stuff.

I dropped my son off at 9, and I've been sitting here for, oh, precisely the entire time.

So, just wanted to share that I've wasted almost an entire day here.

Now I'm getting off. For real. If anyone sees me on here again today, PM me and tell me to get the h*ll off!

Not half as bad as me! I arrived at work at, oh, 8:30, and have accomplished NOTHING other than calling my old NM and reminding her that I applied for the CNS job.

Heather, must be the going thing around here in the Mid-West. I called in today too, just a little bit of a stomach upset. More like just didn't want to go to work and deal with all the stress. I haven't done squat all day either...I need to get in the shower, do some laundry but just don't have the drive. I think my youngest son is getting sick....

Maybe I called in because I put in like 60 hours last week....

At least you two are at HOME doing nothing. I'm at WORK doing nothing! That's why I'm stressed.

Hey Heather, you could have posted this in the "Today is brought to you by the letter "D" Just use the word dung, I haven't done dung all day. Dung is the word, then the subject you brought up, It's ok, I feel you are entitled to those days every now and then.

Every time I get one of those down days that seem wasted at the time, I get a burst of energy the next few days and accomplish all kinds of things. I think you just know that your mental fuel cells need replenishing and down time can accomplish that. Most important thing is not to get down on yourself.

If we worked together,we'd be in trouble, just can't get motivated today, I took effort to get out of bed. I'll have to pay for it later, I am sure.
