I bet you can't outsmart your R foot ??????

  1. This is so funny that it will boggle your mind, and you will keep

trying it at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot.

    But you can't!!!

    1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and

    make clockwise circles with it.

    2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your

right hand. Your foot will change direction!!! You may "not" look at your right foot while trying this.

I told you so... And there is nothing you can do about it!

Seems to me like I am "outsmarting" my R foot -- if my R foot were so darned smart, it would keep going clockwise ... :chuckle

    I outsmarted my foot by concentrating . . . .

    Wonder what that means . . .:uhoh21:

You can't look at your right foot while doing it. If I stare at my right foot I can do it, but without looking, FORGET IT !

    There ya go! :wink2:

My dd's "friend who is a boy" is a drummer. I'll have to ask him to try it. And yes, I know that this is the same guy who is jealous. Long story - needless to say MY right foot will be in his skinny butt if he ever treats her the same and he knows it . . . also, dh will have something to say about it too.

I can do it too. BUT have to make the '6' slowly.

Roy: I did learn to keep 4/4 time in high school.
Left foot on bass pedal for all 4 beats
Right on cymbal pedal on 2&4
    Left stick on all 2&4
Right stick on 2 single and double on the 4th beat.
    BORING huh?

I'd do it when the classmate across the street got a paying job. I'd play at the Knights of Columbus teen canteen dance.
When the men weren't paying attention we had a break and put on a 45 rpm Johnny Mathis record for the cheek to cheek slow dances. Even better a 33 1/3 LP!
Boys went to the trunk of their car to share one beer they "borrowed" from Dad. The men put whiskey in the watered down punch.
Girls didn't drink that I knew of. We had to protect our reputations.

My son did it on the 2nd try, but like you, he started drawing his 6's the other way, from the inside out.
