I am SO tired of this @#$%&% snow!

  1. Woke up this am to take my little dog out, and what do I find? Four more inches of snow Drifts so big in the driveway I can't even SEE the back of my car!

School's not canceled, but I told my little guy he could stay home...guess I need some "bonding" time.

    Is it spring yet??????

Here too, except we got freezing rain before the snow and it's sleeting (is that a word?) now. Can't wait to hit the road....

I'm not going anywhere today if I can get away with it. Hopefully the weather will clear up before clinical tomorrow.

I can't take it any more, either. We live just about as far north in NY as you can get... but not for long. We're planning to move to either VA or NC within the next 3-4 years, depending on when I can start/finish school. I don't mind winter and snow, but we have about 7-8 months of it each year here. Only about 1 to 1 1/2 months of what you might call "summer." But you can't go outside & enjoy it much, because of the $*&!# black flies. Can't wait to get outta Dodge!

It has been in the 40s-50s here for the last two days. The snow is finally melting, and I can see some grass. Looks like there is hope for spring.

Sorry that you got more snow Melissa. Ours is pretty much gone except for where it was plowed into piles last week. We are supposed to get into the 60's by the weekend as well.

All I can say is watch out for April, there's usually one big storm that first week just to say goodbye to winter. We've been lucky this year as opposed to the east coast.

Happy bonding. Bake some cookies or something together

I woke up to tickity tick on my windows. Ice everywhere. School's cancelled.

I'd already promised Brian a mental health day tomorrow, so it looks like a 4 day weekend for us!

I have to work 3-11 tonight though. But the good news is, I get to work with my mom!

    I do, I do, I DO!!
For some unkown reason, I was displaced right before birth in this forsaken state of NY.
I know, in my heart I WAS supposed to be born SOMEWHERE south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Where do I register my complaint???

    :roll :roll :roll

went to bed to snow, and woke up to more snow, with 3"+ inches due by the end of day
