Hulk movie

  1. As much as I am looking forward to seeing the new Hulk movie, I am somewhat dumbstruck by some of the marketing tie-in's. Bad marketing ploy #1: green chocolate syrup.
Ewww.... Surely I'm not the only person who finds the idea of putting this stuff on my ice cream or in my milk totally disgusting. I'm sure kids will love it, but then again, kids are weird.

My 5 year old begged for that stuff. I let him have a box of the Hulk cereal. He ate one bowl, but his sister loves the stuff. Too bad my little one is too young to see the movie, cause he is over the top Hulk crazy.

I love the Hulk!!! I think that we all have the same frustrations and anger pent up in all of us, however we don't have the power to transform into the Not so Jolly Green Giant, although wouldn't it be cool??? What a way to get rid of stress!!! LOL!!! WW.

I saw the trailer but I wasn't that impressed, it made me feel old, becasue I was sat there thinking the cartoon was better!

I know what you mean!!! I was the biggest fan of the t.v. show. I thought Bill Bixby was cute!! I always felt so sorry for him, his real life was as tragic as his character David Banner. I guess I always identified with him, always moving on and running from painful memories. WW.

I just saw his story on Biography last night. That poor man, I felt really bad for him. I used to love the Hulk too, Friday night used to be the best night on television!

Heck, I remember the old cartoon, and its theme music...

"When Dave Banner is ??pounded?? by gamma rays,
    Turns into the Hulk.
Who is as glamorayse*, as Hulk, HULK, everlovin' Hulk!!

*(they couldn't get 'glamorous' to rhyme with 'rays' so they changed the pronunciation! At least, that's what it sounded like!!)

I see previews of the movie...it's really getting pushed on the tube...but will always love the Bill Bixby and Lou Ferigno TV show best . (I know.. I'm dating myself...LOL!)

Although I'm to young to remember the old Hulk tv shows and cartoons (I vaguely remember Lou Ferigno as the Hulk) my 3 year old son is already so into the character. I believe is mostly due to how much they are promoting it. The movie isn't even out yet but it's on everything (toys, cookies, cereal, syrup, and in almost every other commercial). For the past year my son has been so into Spider-man, I guess for the next year it will be the Hulk.
