Hubby ran his cell phone through the washing machine...

  1. Yep. Mr. Leave Everything In His Pockets washed his cell phone. He left the phone in the pocket of his overalls and proceeded to put his overalls in the washer. Guess what? One dead phone. The thing was a year old so we will probably just replace the thing. I told him to keep his hands off my cell phone!!

Moral of the story: Always check your pockets before washing your clothes.

Hmmmm....maybe he'll learn to turn his pockets inside-out now. I say give him another chance.

If my hubby didn't help with the laundry I would be in serious trouble. With the farm and my nursing job the laundry piles up really quick. (Not to mention the three boys who continually add to the pile.) It was HIS phone and his overalls so it is HIS problem to get his phone replaced. I will not let him have my phone.

buuahhh! ok, not very well thought out I guess.
I HATE when my hubby washes MY clothes. I don't even like when he washes his own. Why, you innocently ask? Because he leaves the fargin things in the dryer for freakin ever.....aaarrrgghhh
But then again I could spend all day writing about the annoying stuff he does :chuckle.

Back to the original topic: Did you have your cell phone insured? I finally made my hubby do that after he lost his second one. And see, I keep going back to his annoying habits. Story of my life! LOL

Too funny! I did exactly the same thing 3 weeks ago! Only mine went through the washer AND the dryer!! It fell to many pieces! :roll I took it as a sign, I had been planning on getting a new phone and switching plans, always wanted Nextel, now I have it!! LOL Have fun picking out a new phone!

Oh, I always check my pockets before putting them in the laundry hamper. There's been more than a few times that I've washed a tube of lipstick or some money.

My sister's husband is forever losing his wallet and his MAC card. Don't know how many times they've had to replace those. It's kind of funny actually!

The phone is a year old exactly. So we will probably get a new phone. His was pretty beat up anyway. He carries it around all the time and he is a dairy farmer.

Hubby can't do much damage to his and the boys work clothes. They are pretty shot anyway. If hubby has a question about the laundry he will ask me. He is a better house frau than I am.

I don't have to worry about stuff in my hubby's pockets...but the KIDS!!! sheesh!! paper, gum, tissue, candy, pens, you name it!!!! I don't have the time or the energy to do through three kids worth of pockets, so the rule is: CHECK YOU OWN DANG POCKETS!!!

And, why is it that they can't get their socks RIGHT SIDE out?!?! UGH...I could go on!

Hubby left his cell phone at a restaurant and wanted mine!! I DON'T THINK SO!!! You're a big boy...go get yourself a new one...do not touch mine!

My mom washed the travelers cheques once when we were on vacation in the middle of nowhere - long before ATMs were everywhere.
