How's your package?

  1. On your cell phone, that is! (Bet all those dirty minds were thinking something else!)

I want to get a new cell phone package, and maybe a new phone. I moved here with Verizon, and while I like their service, they can't give me a local number.

Just wondering what type of package you have. The one I have is a nation wide, no roaming, no long distance, 150 peak minutes, and 3350 weekend minutes for $35/month.

Do you like or dislike the service you have?

    I have alltel.
I have no idea how many minutes I have or how much it costs.
I think about $35.Month. It works fine and I know I can call from anywhere in the country.

I have alltel too, but I don't like it. The towers here must not be very good or something. I can't get service at all in town, and only spotty service on the highway until I get further away closer to bigger towns.

I have Verizon, and I love it.
I have the nationwide network thingy so I have free roaming and free long distance and a local number.
I have 400 anytime minutes, 3500 night/weekend minutes, caller ID, call waiting, voice mail, call forwarding, yada yada yada.... for $39/month.
Um, except one month I went over my minutes and had a cell phone bill almost as much as my car note. Ouch!

Now I know I've been corrupted by hanging out here; my mind immediately thought of something else. Sigh...I used to be so pure and innocent!

Just had to increase it, I guess I have escalated my calls recently (it's SO convenient!!). 600 anytime minutes (with rollover to next month if you don't use 'em one month), some am't of weekend minutes, oh, and I chose roadside assistance pkg for 2.99/mo - "goes where you go with your phone, not just in your car," according to the ads. Cingular. Sometimes the reception is spotty (going over certain hills, etc.; absolutely CANNOT get any reception in the middle of next town, at a friend's house - on a slight hill. <sigh>) -- D

I have Sprint PCS. 300 anytime minutes and unlimited nights and weekends for $30/month plus taxes and stuff so my bill a month is around 33 dollars provided I don't go over my anytime minute allotment

Also, have nationwide free long distance with no roaming charges!

We have Verizon, not sure what the package is as my husband took care of that. I hardly ever use my phone but it's nice to have.

I have Cellular One and get 1500 anytime and 1500 night/weekend for 30. Hubby and I use ours for all of our long distance, which is nice. If we didn't have internet, we wouldn't have a land line at all.....
