How many children do you want to have?

  1. One of my friends asked me this question. I said one.

    What about you?

    However many that i have.

(Of course, i've never been through labor, the pain might make me come up with a number)

3 is enough for me LOL. I used to want 5! Labor changed my way of thinking.

I have a sweet 5 year old boy And thought I did not want anymore in the last few years. Today I was at work and someone had the education channels about having a new born. I saw a mom brestfeed and found myself thinking, maybe I could do that again So for me I guess none, 1 or two more would be fine!

Of the bat, I'd say 20.

Then I figure if I said something like that, my wife would probably kill me! I mean, she is a human being, not a baby-producing machine!

So theorotically, I suppose I could be happy with two.

So all said and done, I'd take as many as my wife would give me... and if we are both up for it, adopt the rest In any case this isn't set in stone - seeing how I got a loooooooooong way to go still

i always wanted an even number, specifically 4 or 6.

after i had my first, i swore on a stack of bibles i was going to raise puppies afterwards.

    number 2 came 9 months 2days later;

and my 3rd came a few years later then my dh went out and got himself a vasectomy when he learned i was pregnant with number 3. :angryfire

he never even discussed it with me.

so in hindsight i did have a total of 4 but one was killed sev'l yrs ago in an accident.

and as it stands now, 3 is enough but wouldn't mind around 20 grandchildren....certainly not now as my oldest is only 15 but i so look forward to becoming a grandma.

I know when we were 1st married before we had a child, we wanted 3 (myself included, I always wanted 3) After having our daughter, we decided one was enough for us. She is 4 now, I am 36, will turn 38 just after completeing LPN school. I plan on going straight on to ASN transisition, so I will be at least 40 by the time I get through.

I want to have what God will give me......losing pregnancies really puts it all in perspective for me.......and adoption overseas is a serious consideration and prayer in my heart now.

Which reminds me, someone here PM'd me about OS adoption, but when I "Cleaned house" in my PM box, I accidentally deleted that message. If you are out there, please, pm back...I am sorry. I did not mean to i gnore you, just holiday stress and airheadedness, no excuses. I really would love to hear from those w/experience in this, anyone. Thank you.
