Play dumb and never trust them again.

Put a bunch of crazyglue in the lock of their car doors.

Makes it harder to put the key in.

Sign them up for extra shifts (hmmm...graveyard on the psych floor will work).

Send a small boquet (don't spend too much) to be delivered to her house when hubby is home.
Card says "Thanks for the other night" signed, Me

The best (and, not insignificantly, most entertaining) way to deal with people like that is to plant "disinformation," then sit back and laugh and laugh while watching them hang themselves.

Put an ad in the paper advertising their house for sale.

Put an ad in the personals with her cell phone number in it.

Put an ad in the garage sale section with her address and early birds welcome; just knock on the door.

    Mmmmm, revenge.

And in the personal ad...make her a bisexual who wants to experiment with another couple.

OMG, Rusty you are a devil !!! I hope to never get on your bad side, LOL.

I would just confront the person in front of witnesses and tell them directly to their faces that I have heard that you said -----. I am here to tell you if you have anything to say to me or about me, now is your chance as I am standing right in front of you.

I did that exact thing years ago to a nurse that was trying to stir up trouble, not only did she back down but the rest of the staff avoided her like the plague that she was. I also let my nurse manager know exactly what was said and that I did not appreciate it. I found that straight forward honesty is the best policy. By the way, that nurse was fired, seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Good riddance.

Oh, but BadBird, that takes balls. Much easier just to make her life hell

Seriously, you are right, but it can backfire too, especially if the person you are confronting has been there for a long time and you are the new person, or the person is "in" with the manager. Of course, they are going to deny they said anything at all. However, if you are the one that is firmly entrenched, confrontation is the way to go. If you have balls. Really big ones.:uhoh21:

Confront the two faced person with whatever they did, face to face. I bet they'll think twice in the future? If that doesn't work then make her a bisexual who wants to experimant with another couple and kitchen gadgets! Now where'd I put my egg timer? DING!
Russell don't make me say things like that!
