How addicted are you to allnurses? How long do you stay online?

  1. I've been a member here for several years. I log on every single day. Sometimes it's 5 minutes, sometimes it's an hour or so. Tonight I've been on for 3 hours straight. What's your record?

I have been on hours ,but I have all the replies to my subscribed threads sent to my e-mail and I end up getting on here a average of about 25-30 times a day.... totally addicted. I need a 12 step program or something. Hi I am Denise and I am a all-nurse-a-holic!!!!!!:uhoh21:

i refuse to answer on the grounds that it might tend to incriminate me and if i am sent off somewhere for answering otherwise i might not have access to allnurses.com and i will not be a happy camper and i might go crazy 'cause if i can't log on i will go crazier and so therefore i will have to plead the 5th........

    (how's that for a run-on sentence?).:d

It's been almost 4 hours now. My neck is beginning to kill me so I'm contemplating going to bed. I've just noticed this is my 999th post so I definately cannot go to bed until I pass the 1000th mark. Wow some of you who are in the 1000's are incredible (incredibly addicted!). Have you ever experienced withdrawal? Oh wow, there have been times when the internet has been down :Crash: or the electricity has been off for several hours :angryfire and I can go into withdrawals. Even worse, go on vacation for a couple of weeks, even Disney World and all the time having visions of getting back home and logging back onto allnurses. Brian you're a genius! You've created something special and I thank you !!!!

up until a couple of months ago, i was totally addicted.
but events in my life have since changed and i'm on the bb less often.
there's nothing i'd love more is for my current situation(s) to absolve so i could resume my status as being an allnurses addict.

    I heartily agree!

Thanks too! All you members out there - Premium or not - who keep me coming back to this site

Leslie: I echo Diana's sentiments - can't wait for the "registered nut" to return in full form :roll

On workdays I check in twice a day, before and after, ususally while I'm eating. On off days, I check in frequenty, spending short amounts of time. It all adds up to total and complete addiction.

I don't usually spend a whole bunch of time here all at once, but I do tend to pop in very frequently. Some days ten times or more. Especially if I'm at home or work and at the computer working on something else. I've got a list of favorites, and when I'm bored with or need a break from what I'm doing, I just click on each one and see what's happening. I really have no idea what my record is.

    Allnurses Addiction? What's that?

    :roll Yep, I'm addicted.

But what better thing to be addicted to, right?

I don't log on and off.. I just stay logged on. After checking my regular emails each day, I come here and am already logged on. Keep this site up and running all day when I'm not at work, and check out new threads/posts regularly through out the day inbetween my little "chores" around the house. Like those I'm now neglecting by answering this thread. Heh.

OK.. outta here ! Things to do! (like getting those bills paid and laundry to hang out).

    BUT................ I'll be BACK !!!

I've been offline for a bit - trying to get a bit of balance in my life, so I've missed you all, but when my allnurses addiction is at its worst I am online for 18 hours - at first checking what I've missed and then dipping in and out as light relief between writing bits of my thesis!
