    My son used to call me at work and use odd accents thinking that no one would know who he was. Wasn't that childishly cute?

    When I was 15 and went on vacation with my best friend and family, we all pretended I was a British cousin. I used to pretend I didn't understand the money system and was helped by honest people to figure what to pay without trying to fool me into paying more. Best friend's parents thought I was "a hoot" and went along gleefully with the whole charade.
