wow...can't say i would want to get breast implants but a little nose job would be nice! haha 10% is not much when you are considering plastic surgery costing thousands of dollars! Whatever happened to a holiday bonus or a christmas ham!

I had to read this twice...making sure it wasn't my hospital that was being talked about. My hospital did the same thing last year and said that the cost of the plastic surgery could be payroll deducted.

Not gonna give my opinion, but it did take me by surprise.

    why not?

i've had 18 plastic/reconstructive surgeries, and plan on a couple of more. however, i've never had a breast implant, or something went terribly wrong!

i think the hospitals should give their employees discounts on any surgery. it shouldn't matter which kind of surgery is wanted or needed. dr's should give the staff a discount as well.

that way, you should save 20% on the total cost of the surgery, at least.

by the way, wouldn't this end up being a perk to lure more customers to that hospital?

Yeh... with a TWENTY percent discount, maybe they could have BOTH implants done !

Yep, you can gain 10% and save 10% all at the same time on each breast!!

To bad they aren't doing the gastric stapling surgery....I would be there in a heart beat. I know how much those cost and some insurance companies are still calling them anything but regular surgery...Don't they realize that obesity is a disease just like cancer!!!!!:angryfire

I second that....hair transplant, lasix eye surgery, hearing aids...well, you get what I mean.

Funny, you hear about breast reductions, but you never hear about penis reductions for men. Is there such a thing or is it that no man would want it????

Wow, how do you answer that question without making it inappropriate for minor eyes? lol

I doubt any man would want it.....not unless he has a 'huge' defect.

Hmmm... "breast implant" with "perk". In the same sentence.
