Well, you must be an absolut specialist on Turkey, Ex130load.
Being on turkish ground for 24 hours a few times.
Turkey is definetly NOT a 3. world country, they have a different way of life, cultural and traditional way of living with each other and of course the religion plays a big part in their lives too.
And of course they want their girls to be virgins, a very important item, otherwise the girls won't get a husband and even worse they will be kicked out of their families.
Hard for us "westeners" to understand, but that's the way it is.
What I don't understand about the hymen always being intact, why is it, we operate on young (mostly students from arab or moslemic countries) girls and make a "hymen-plastic?"
This happens at least once a week here, the girls come to the hospital are operated on and go home after a few hours and can fly home again, without fear for their mothers, grandmothers and of course the men in their family.
I that article serious? Tomorrow I am going to ask one of my 15(!) turkish students about this!!
Take care, Renee
