hm..mm... What about THIS, Rusty ?

  1. Should I keep it the classic black, or this? I really like this, too!

    This woman's 68 R50 took 1st place 3 X !!! It's a vintage, like mine. Since I'm having it restored, I could do it like this one...

    Can't decide...???

    Kool!

Now I know someome else I can contact for a hard to find part, if I need to !

I learned on a 650 Triumph in 1971... then we bought a Norton (great bike, too ) and it's been the Beamers ever since. Don't care much for the new ones, but I LOVE my oldie !!! Gee, when I bought it, it was just buying a used bike... now it's a "vintage" !

Guess aging does have some bennies after all, eh?

Think I'll stick with the black.

That is one beautiful bike. How far along are you with restoring yours? Two bike weeks here in May. Harley Davidson rally starts May 9 and the National Black Bike Week is Memorial Day weekend.
The weather has been perfect for riding.

Just now starting. Don't have the bucks to go all out, but trying to have it at least repainted, cleaned up real good and a few minor details... hopefully it won't take too long. Will do some of it myself while the our friend does the other stuff... help speed up the process a little. (hurry, hurry, hurry !!!)

Think I'll stick with the black. I REALLY like the eggshell, but it wouldn't feel like "my" bike anymore. Too much of a switch. Need to find new saddlbags now, too. Bummers. Lost the cover of one of them on my way to Kansas... never did find it. Can't find that make of saddlebag anywhere (YET), so I can't replace the cover.

    I'll keep looking....
