WHAT???? I am only about 1 1/2 hr away from SanAntonio and I had not heard anything about this..but then I am usually oblivious to things going on around me. It is drizling a bit and earlier we had some thunder and lightning. I just hope we don't end up flooded again like last month.

You guys are so sweet to me. What on earth would I ever do without you as my allnurses siblings! I hope I never never never have to find out. :blushkiss

Well......as for the weather.....I have heard something to the effect of "BAD WEATHER" coming our way, but the outside is looking no worse for the wear......YET!!! Got the television turned on and facing my computer. If I'm going out, I'm going out talking to you, my friends. :kiss

Hubby is at a "Dining In" this evening with all the soldiers from certain units, but he's only a eyeview away from where we live if I need him. (Spouses cannot go to "Dining Ins").

It's clouding up outside, and the temperature is dropping....weatherman just said the weekend could be the worse part of it all. So......I will stay in touch loved ones. Enough of you have my phone number to call me if need be, but Big Bertha aint got nothing on my FATHER. Why HE can kick her butt better than anyone else can. :chuckle

Big Brother is getting ready to come on, so hope the electrical power doesn't go out. Wouldn't that be a bummer! :chuckle

Okay......an hour has passed, and all is quiet outside. The weather report shows two counties under thunderstorm warnings, but Bexar County is quiet for now. Isn't this exciting? Stay tuned for more weather reports from "The LoneStar State of TX! :chuckle

The storms are suposed to hit the lower Rio Grande Valley area. That is about 3-5 hour drive from San Antonio area. The area it is going to hit really needs the rain right now also.

OK, what's the deal here Cheerful? Just an hour ago it was clear and sunny. Now it is dark and raining with lots of thunder. Did you send it over here in order to get rid of it in SA?

no babygirl.....i prayed for it to go to nevada so lasvegasrn could experience a "wet moment" or two with all that "dry heat" they have there. :chuckle

yes, the storm came and rained hard down upon our valley, but it let up within an hours time....thank the lord! :kiss i guess big bertha couldn't hang with all this heat and humidity here, so for now at least.....she's trippin' silently elsewhere....never know with tx weather what's coming or going from one day to the next.

    stay dry all you texans!
