In Pittsburgh we are now on a flood watch due to the rain that is planned and the melting snow. I sure am ready for spring!

I completely agree with all of you.

I'm in Pittsburgh too and this is the first time in months that I have seen the great glowing orb in the sky (what people in nice climates call the sun).

Luckily I don't live near the rivers or cricks but I really feel for all those people who do.

Man, I can't wait til Spring. For me the official start of spring is when we get close to Easter. We don't always have great or spring like weather at that time of year but it's just know that it's right around the corner that gets me through those last couple weeks of winter.

Dees, You missed your calling, ya know. You need to be all decked out on the weather channel, not slaving away as a nurse.

I am married to a farmer, so that is my excuse. We eat and live by the weather. You think I have been bad this winter, just wait until we get into spring planting season and then haymaking season....you will find out what obession means.... :roll

My house sits in the middle of pasture land and farm fields. I have a corn/bean field to the east and south of the house and a pasture for grazing to the north. At least the west has a good size yard for the boys to play in, but past the barn it is more corn and beans. It is kind of pretty in the middle of the summer with everything green and growing....much better than the mud slop slush we have now....

I enjoy waking up to the sound of a distant tractor on summer mornings, it's so peaceful
