Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different color twist tie. They are: Monday Blue -- Tuesday Green -- Thursday Red -- Friday White Saturday Yellow. So if today was Thursday, you would want red twist tie -- not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)! The colors go alphabetically by color Blue-Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting. I looked in the grocery store and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and even the one with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn something new everyday!!! Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right color on the day you are shopping.

    1) milk of magnesia for oily skin. i put it on after cleansing my face, leave on a few hours or overnight, skin is smooth, bright, and very matte!

    2) toothpaste on a pimple, left overnight, dries it right up.

What I have heard about Beer is that it makes your hair shiny. Just wash your hair with it and then rinse it off with rain water. I would assume that in a pinch though, tap water would work. I have also heard the same thing about vinegar. Maybe it strips all the gunk off your hair and that's what makes it shiny. Who knows.

I couldn't let this one slip: Aspirin (regular old, 99 cents store, no-name aspirin, NOT the brand names) is an AWESOME facial mask. Simply crush six to eight aspirin with a FEW drops of water in your hand or a cup, enough to make a paste, and spread it on (AVOID YOUR EYE AREA LIKE THE PLAGUE, it WILL STING! ). Wait eight to ten minutes or till dry and as you apply water to "de-stiffen" your face, use your wash cloth or fingers to gently rub the asprin particles into the skin as an exfoliator. Rinse completely and thoroughly and be AMAZED! (I feel like I'm selling something! LOL!)

The single most valuable weapon in my skincare arsenal (and obviously cheapest), hands down. Try it!
:spin: <--- She's modeling her skin post-Asprin facial! LOL!
