Hello Everyone! I made it to Hoosier Land Safely!

  1. Dear Allnurses Siblings

I made it safe and sound, without any weather problems, to my oldest daughter's and her family's home in Indianapolis, Indiana!
I drove over 19 hours by myself to get here, and God took excellent care of me during the trip!

Thank all of you for your prayers and/or positive thoughts for my safe travel here. I will be driving one hour to Dayton, Ohio tomorrow for my appointments at my new place of employment, search for an apartment, and take care of other tasks there before driving back to Indianapolis to stay with family for the holidays. I won't move into my apartment in Dayton until January 2, 2003.

I'm using the library computer as my family does not own one of yet. My time is almost up, so I won't get to check back with you all until tomorrow night sometime (hopefully).

Have a blessed day today, and drive safely! Love you all!

    In His Mighty Grip,
    Renee...AKA...Cheerfuldoer:kiss

Yes, and the MD state song has the tune of 'O Tannenbaum' (Oh Christmas Tree).

Hark to an exiled son's appeal
    Maryland my Maryland
My mother state, to thee I kneel
    Maryland my Maryland...

(hee. I sang in a Children's Chorus growing up. In fact, I still sing in a chorus, but now for adults!)

First off.......Hey, Betts - Congrats on your son's accomplishment and best wishes for him to move to a more reasonable place soon!!

Glad you made it there safe, ((((((((((Renee))))))))))))) I've been online a little bit at work, but I can't at home. It's KIND of a funny story - my keyboard is broken, and I can't log in. The letters w, s, x, and some of the number keys don't work. I'm really hoping Santa brings me one as an EARLY present. Anyway, the "S" is in my login, so I can't read email or log into allnurses at home.

    Kinda funny in a way.

Anyway - best wishes in all these new endeavors. I hope you'll LOVE your new job and I know you'll shine in that class.

Is the state song for Ohio "beautiful Ohio?" I can still sing that, so it's probably not. Never learned the Indiana state song - because I didn't like Lafayette even a teeny, tiny, little bitty, small, iota of a bit.

    Love
