have you ever felt this way?

  1. I don't know what's wrong with me...why I feel this way. Anyways, it seems like everyone's life is moving or going somewhere. My best friend is a sophomore in college, and will be starting nursing school in july, my best guy friend is moving to Knoxville b/c of his job in May, and here I am stuck in this little hick town. Maybe I'm just feeling sorry for myself, or maybe (more likely) I'm envious of everyone already "starting their life" so to speak. Also, my feelings may be because this is exactly the week I would have emotional probs, if ya catch my drift. Anyways, thanks for letting me vent. You guys are great!

Awww...you are working towards your goals, right? Big journeys start with little steps! Be nice to yourself now...

Oh yes. I have many goals, and I am already heading toward them, but it just seems that I am just so far behind everyone that I know. Anyways, like I said..its probably just hormones. Thanks for your response though..I always appreciate ya'lls replies.

I'm 26 , single, unmarried, no children, so you can well imagine the questions I get on a daily basis -you know people asking "when are you going to get married?" and "dont you want children?"
of course I want to be married, I want to find someone to spend the rest of my life with, and I would love to be a mom.....but its not like its in my hands when everything comes together
remember that life happens when ur busy making other plans
I know how you feel, but thats the natural circle of life as it is , there are times where everything is swirling and moving and going fast (too fast sometimes) and there are other times where you just feel stuck in a rut
take it for what it is ,a transition time.... the time inbetween great things happening for you in your life !
ride the calm and realize that it just takes time for things to happen
the maing thing is that you have goals and dreams and aspirations, cuz without those, you dont have much at all

Yes and when I do I try hard to take inventory of my life and appreciate what I HAVE accomplished and what I have or work toward a goal. WE all have times like this, trust me.

oh, you poor girl, I just want to give you a big hug!!!! I have a firend from MS and she felt/feels the same way. She is a travel nurse now and swears she will never move back to smalltown, MS. She goes home to visit but thats it. Everytime she does go home she is glad she left to be a traveller and see the world. I hope you are feeling better.
