Has anyone used e-file for their taxes?

  1. Has anyone filed their taxes electronically? If you did and were entitled to a refund, how fast did you get your refund back? I am getting ready to take our taxes back to the accountant so they can e-file them. We have a huge refund coming this year and just anxious to know how long it takes.....

    Good for you!

Actually, this is one area, where I've heard they are pretty good at getting them quickly, especially if you direct deposit.

I did it over the phone and got my refend in about 7 days deposited!

    Congrats on the refund!

I got my state taxes back in 6 days, federal in 10. And it's already gone to replace my central heat and air units (which were 25 years old...).

We use turbo-tax and usually have it in the bank in about 10 days.

We've been e-filers for a few years now-- 10 days for direct deposit.

But this year, we gotta pay. Oh well.

Usually takes about 1-2 weeks, depending on what part of the tax season we file in. I seem to get it back quicker the sooner we file.

We're going tonight. I can't wait to order all my goodies for the house!

I went to www.irs.gov and e-filed for free for my mom. I chose a refund anticipation loan and opted to have it direct deposited into her checking. I did this yesterday. She should have a FAT deposit today.
