    Hello
Dogs have their own internal clock and it doesn't include a time change. So up early to feed them. Nap is coming for sure.

    Morning, All:
On my second cup of coffee as I await (and with trepidation, I might add). the recruiter's decision this morning regarding that Auditor's position. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, for there have been way too many disappointments for me this year: the loss of my home, jobs which did not work out (including the one I am in right now), and the choice ones I wanted badly and didn't get. I am at a point in my life where just having a job in order to generate income isn't enough anymore. I no longer have the patience to deal with neurotic bosses, criminal corporations or employment agencies who lie to you through their teeth in order to get their commission, then abandon you like a lamb for the slaughter afterwards. I want to be able to make a difference in the job that I am doing for someone and feel good about it afterwards. Is that asking too much? Maybe it is, and I know I am sounding selfish when I say this, but I am putting myself first, after 36 years in this business. If I could retire, I would. But I can't, and from now on, I am going to do what is best for me.

Pray for me this morning. I should know something by 10:00 AM.

    GOOD MORNING, PEEPS!!

Can y ou all believe that Halloween:gandalf: is over & November is here!! YUK!!

I've had a SUPER BUSY NITE, so haven't had much time to read here---will catch up when I get home.

Hope you all have been BEHAVING!!! :trout: NOT!! What fun would that be!!

After work, we have DH's Therapy; then off to that trip to Trader Joe's!! You all have talked it up so much, that I just have to try it!!
Then a trip to Sport's Authority to look at Recumbant Bikes.
Then a trip to the other Grocery store, drop off some stuff at my mom's & FINALLY HOME!!!!!! I sure wish I could get in the habit of going home & going to bed after work!!

    Oh well!!

Tomorrow after work, I have 4 hrs of Compatencies!! We have to do this every year. They say tho, that it will probably only be 2 1/2 hrs or so.Of course, it depends how many people are there & how fast each of us finishes at the different "Stations". I think there are 12-13 different topics to tackle!!
Oh well; I'm off then on Thurs & Fri nites!! That's the good news.

Got to run; Only a little over an hour left

    How is Dad??

    Mary Ann
Good morning Mary Ann. Dad is doing quite well. No pain meds yesterday. His major complaint is that he thinks they messed up his throat during intubation. He feels there is something flapping around in his throat....more than just mucous or irritation. He is having difficulty swallowing because of this....feels like he's choking. Also his mouth is really dry....which could be from the anesthesia. I am a little concerned about some assymetry in his face and some slurred.

But all in all....I think he's during jus great!!!!!
