Happy Monday Nov 26, 2007

  1. Hello peeples,

Now I know it must be Monday somewhere around the world, so I decided to start the good morning thread. It's only 90 minutes away here anyway. So here's some :smilecoffeeIlovecof for those of you who need it.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. This is the first I was able to post since I went offline a few days ago, because my SIL installed a new XP system. I got rid of Vista. I don't recommend it. I had a lot of trouble with it.

Anyway, it's good to be back.

    Hi Fran!

I'll bet you're glad to have your computer back. I'm glad you got to spend time with your family over the holiday weekend. My brother lives in your neck of the woods (works for AccuWeather) and we missed him on Thursday. He had to work. I guess like sick prople, the weather doesn't take holidays. We'll see him in a few weeks for Christmas.

Waiting for my dinner to be delivered. I got out of work a little late and was just fried, so dh and I ordered hoagies after I got ds to bed. I'l going to eat and get my behind to bed. Work was busy. Our census was down, but the ones that were left were pretty sickly.

Happy Monday to all to come!

It will be a happy day for me, because I called in sick for two days. I will call a plumber today to fix the bathroom sink and I hired a cleaning crew to come by on Tuesday to finally bring in some order into my chaotic house!

NYDreamer, congrats on the 12 pound loss, Fran, glad you are back on line, bethin, congrats on the new computer (need a new mouse, myself), and may everyone have a great day!

Hey there all - boring night here @ work - knock on wood.....I am really tired, did not sleep today. I have been really emotional the past few days about going to LA - I just want to go home. I have not signed anything yet - I think I am just going to go home and work agency for a while, until I get my head back on straight again,,,,,

    g'day from down under!
thanks for starting the thread today, fran.
it's now monday (early) evening here in oz. tea's cooking in the oven and the washing is all washed, dried and brought in from the line. it's been a rather quiet monday here today. no urgent phone calls, (thankfully!), no bills in the mail, no household drama's, everything in fine working order! lol
i've written my shopping list for christmas and will get started on that tomorrow.
we're not exchanging gifts this year. i decided since, compared to so many in this world, we have plenty already, we'll all chip in and make a family donation to charity. i'm fed up with the comercialisation of christmas, hence my decision to do this this year. we will of course, enjoy the christmas celebrations in the traditional ways, just without exchanging gifts between ourselves.

well, i wish everyone yet to reach monday, a safe, happy and healthy monday!

    cheers............

Did I miss something? I thought you were going back to Indy and then moving in with your sister? What's this about LA?

(((diarygirl))) Hope everything works out for you. Don't sign anything if you're emotional - you'll regret it later.

I was going to go out with my sister, but there was nothing close - LA sounded cool.....at the time, but I have been crying for the past 3 days thinking about doing it and being so far away from home.....I just miss my family and my little house - I want some kind of a normal life. I have not signed anything yet - just looking at all the paperwork is making me ill.....I need to get my head on right!
