Nothing much in my life today other than school and taking the car in for an oil change.

I am sure something will come up soon.......no doubt.

Until then, I will chat with you later.

    good morning everyone,

mary ann -- hope your night slowed down for you.

jess -- have a good day at school

well i have a mandatory meeting this morning @ 7am. i had to make arrangements for all my kids. babysitter is taking the baby early. my dd stayed all night with a friend. ds will be up and he is going to walk to the bus stop.

then after the meeting hopefully not to long then i have a meeting with a advisor about my classes and to see what classes i took that might be able to transfer and take place of some classes so i don't have to take them twice. i am hoping.

i have picked up and extra day at work this week and next week. we are really desperate for money. we have had no income since sept. 30. that pay check was really gone before we had it, went to some bills.

my dd is going to be busy this school year. she is in girl scouts, on the geography bowl, plays the violin, is the cashier for the book store. these are all the things she wants to do. as long as her grades stay in the a's and b's range as they are right now everything will be fine. if they are starting to slip then something will have to go. but anyways she is a smart girl. i think she will do just fine.

well had better get off of here and make sure oldest is still getting ready and hasn't fallen back to sleep. i need to get the youngest up and dressed. boy i hate to have to do that. maybe i won't. just wrap him in a blanket and take his clean clothes with him. hum????

oh well i am the same nothing has changed with me i see the psychiatrist on thursday.

to all of you who come after me have a great day and know that each and every one of you are in my prayers.

    Good morning, everyone.

Mary Ann, thanks for starting the thread.

    Jess, enjoy the downtime.

Angie, meetings, meetings. I hate them.

Tweety, sounds like you were in a rush. Have a good one, whatever it is you're doing.

I have a really, really tough decision to make. My kids have been acting out a lot lately. Part of it is because they're having a rough time grieving. My therapist says add that to a lack of structure due to work schedules and my husband traveling a lot lately and it's stressing them.

DH and I talked about this and I asked at work if I can have part-time day shift at work so I can juggle around everyone else's schedule. They don't really have prn here. Well, they said they'd let me know, but they don't have any openings for part time days which is what I need.

This means, I'll probably have to leave and pick up agency hours here and there just to keep my license active. Part of me doesn't really want to do this, but my kids have to come first. They need supervision after school and at night. And with DH gone so much, they aren't getting that.

And no, much as he would love to, DH can't quit his job. It's our primary source of income.

The question is, if I choose to leave do I resign now or finish out next month's schedule. DH left for a month this morning. Gah, I hate decisions like this. I don't feel like I'm in a good place to make them.

    Hi to everyone!!!

Just got off of work and got to take a kid to school. I can't find anything to complain about and I'm not feeling particularly witty. I'll check in later before bed.. I can't believe I almost speechless.

    Good morning everyone!

Mary Ann...hope the rest of your shift went well!

Jess....enjoy the "down time" while you can!

Angie....meetings and money....it's always something, isn't it? But your daughter sounds like a motivated, dedicated girl. My oldest, on the other hand, has issues with those things. I haven't been on much lately, so I'm not sure what you are going through right now, but you are in my prayers, as well. I hope your day goes smoothly.

    Have a great day, Tweety!

Cyberkat.....I'm completely with you on having tough decisions to make in your life. I'm going through some as well, so I can sympathize. :icon_hug:
I can't imagine what you and your family are feeling while going through the grieving process, but family always comes first. If it means giving up your job and taking on a different one for stability, then do it. It will all work out. Your kids need you more than any job. Let us know how you are doing, and we are always here for you!

Dianah....just read yesterdays thread and your response. No, I haven't talked to my ex about the move. I want to wait until we know for sure what's going on and when. I know that he will not agree to the move, so it's a matter of whether or not my dd living with her dad will work. On the one hand, I'd hate to see that happen, not because they don't love her or anything, but she's been with me her whole life. On the other hand, we've been living under my ex's thumb for years, and it gets to a point where we have to make a decision for the whole family, and this move will benefit the whole family and our future. It's like, do I stay here, treading water and going no where, or do I take a risk and make the move. It could work out wonderfully, or it could not work out at all. But I'm tired of doing nothing.

Nothing much going on here.....my ds had a field trip this morning, so he will be home at 1:30. Then football practice. Other than that, nothing much.

    Have a great day!!

Well, I am alive.....only problem is that Full Moon has given me a headache in the way of "cut ups." One "dear" has an attitude we haven't seen in quite some time. Still thinks the Army will take him after 45 years, and then some.....

Several others "conveniently" have forgotten the access code to the patio...the buzzer is still ringing in my ears. Ick!

Oh, well. Have a good one, people.

Ahh, but if I don't work at least once in a while as a nurse, I won't feel like I'm a nurse then won't be able to post here.

Good morning all! Today I've got to get caught up on some Algebra (yuck!) and take DD 2 hrs away to an ADHD specialist for a f/u visit. She's run out of meds due to the doc being out of the office and it's been VERY wild around here.
Mary Ann- Don't go too fast, lol!
Jess- Have a great day at school!
Angie- Good luck with that full plate!
Tweety- Come talk when you have time.
Shelly- Have a good day and recharge the wit tank, lol!
    Cyberkat- Good luck with everything!
Jennifer- Hope your ds enjoys the field trip!
Sue- I know the feeling! This weekend, after a very drawn out blessing, this particular resident said "Amen. Now it's every man for himself!" He is one who yells battle cries and gives instruction to his troops all the time, lol!
    Siri- Good morning!
