I am a bad mom. I forgot to put the baskets together and hide them. I woke up to the younger kids saying "he skipped us!" (ooooops!). So my husband ran interference while I quickly put the stuff in the baskets and hid them in the tub (of all places!). Luckily my youngest is 11, and doesn't believe in the bunny (nor does my oldest, of course!!!!!!). My step son is 8, and is on the borderline, so I hope we didn't damage his psyche!!! Oh dear!!!!

Hope everyone enjoys their Easter holiday! We will be driving to have dinner with my husband's family. Can't wait!

Happy Easter to everyone! Easter bunny also got caught this morning trying to put out the goodies before church! My thirteen yr old was laughing at me! Pulled it off for the eight yr old! Safe for one more year!

Happy Easter to all! No baskets here. I waited to the last minute and then hubby was sick yesterday so I couldn't get out by myself to get goodies. Its okay, the kids don't seem to care (they are 10 and 13). We did enjoy coloring the eggs together this morning. I didn't bother boiling them because nobody in the house actually likes boiled eggs. My daughter is blowing some of the colored ones out right now to use for brunch!

My daughter and I are going to make a rhubarb pie in a little while. And we are having Lasagna for supper. How's that for non-traditional?

Fog as thick as peasoup here... eggs wouldn't show up if they were neon. Can't even go outside and enjoy the day.

But all is well with my spirit...Easter indeed renews my life, my hope, and my gratitude.

So HAPPY EASTER to ALL !!!

Went to ecumenical Easter Sunrise service held outside. Played the keyboards. . . outside. . . cold fingers on the keyboard make for a few wrong notes!

But it was beautiful outside! Cold, but sunny!

    Lovely day. My favorite holiday!

Happy Easter. . . and Peace!
