Hallelujah! I have moved to Ontario!!!

  1. I have finally gotten myself somewhat settled in to my new place in Ontario. And I have to ask how you natives can stand the weather?! It was actually spring when I left BC, but somehow I have been transported back into December weather. I start my new job next week and am looking forward to the change. Hopefully all my stuff will be delivered before then.

Where abouts is the new job? I trained in Ontario and still call it home. You get used to the weather and actually miss it after you've been gone several years. Best of luck to you.

Welcome, Fergus. I'm in York Region, just north of Toronto, and we've got ANOTHER freakin' snowstorm today!!

Hey, I'm off today, so I can just sit and watch it come down!

I am in the big city and apparently my movers decided it was too cold to work Monday, so I didnt get any of my stuff.... Wendy, we should so get together, I can pm you my number if you want. I don't know the city too well and am starting nursing in a different area than I have ever worked before. Scary, but exciting at the same time.

I keep getting up in the morning and expecting it to be spring. I just can't get used to the idea of snow and -30C in March for chrissakes!!! I talked to a friend in Victoria and it was like 15 there! They get to walk down the street admiring the flowers as I am getting pelted with slush from idiots driving vans.

yeah not quite fair, the whole snow/slush thing that is..
