DS makes this dish for us every Thanksgiving. I guess that's why I like it.

Is this the same as tator tot casserole? If so, then yeah I think I'd rather eat dog crap, it'd at least smell better!

There will be NO Thanksgiving dinner without it, my kids would revolt, no I didnt say revolting.

It wasn't part of my family's repertoire so I have no real feelings about it. It's enough of a novelty that I take a bit when it's served but it's never occurred to me to make it or try to acquire some.

If my stepdad or my mom make it, it's delish. I haven't ever had to try anyone else's.

My mil makes Tater Tot Casserole. With hamburger. It is actually good - kinda like a comfort food.

I refuse to eat ANYTHING that can be described by the word 'casserole'---I'm not a fan of mystery meals, and I have too many bad church-supper memories to trust such dishes. Bleah.

It is the ultimate MN/Lutheran Church comfort food.

Green beans, Cream of Mushroom soup, dried french onions across the top for crunch. Whats not to love? :spin:
