Well.....congratulations Gramma and Grampa to be!

My grandchildren call me MOM or Gramma.

Both sisters of mine who have grandchildren have their grandchildren call them "Nana".

My stepson calls his grandmother "Nana".

My grandchildren from daughter number one call their "other" grandmother "Ganny".

I've even known some grandmothers to insist their grandchildren call them by their first names because they don't want to be called anything that reminds them they are a grandparent.

Being a grandparent is an awesome responsibility, and I couldn't be happier. As a matter of fact, number twelve is on its way the first part of February.

Mom's parents are Grandma Lois & Grandpa Max (& don't dare call them anything else :chuckle ) Bio dad's side are Ma & Pa yep, that was how they came out as a toddler & still call them that today. Step side-call them by their first name Even to my sisters they just aren't grandparently.

Had a great-grandma called Granny, and another one I named Granny Rie, as I was trying to say Grandma Marie...she liked it & it stuck with all her greats

My son hasn't offically named all his grandma's and grandpa's yet, except for my dad is either pop pop or papa, can't tell what he's saying

    (Congratulations grandma )

My children call my mom and dad grandma and grandpa, but my hubby's parents are pappy and MG........the story behind it is that it stands for magnificient grandma or grandmother and she says she looks too young to be a grandma....she does too, lol!!

Nana and Pop Pop (Dad's side... this would be my Nana that recently passed away that I've been missing lately).

Mom's side is Pap pap Harley (uh, yeah, his name is Harley) and Grandma MaryLou (she's actually a step-grandmother, my maternal grandmother died when I was quite young).
