Got any Pet Names? (not animals) Please share :)

  1. Hi,

I started out calling my then fiance (now husband) "Bunny Bear". He called me "cheeks".

Throughout the years, I changed it to "honey bunny" or just plain "Bunny". To this day, whenever I call him "Bunny" he answers with "hippity hop, hippity hop"

He also calls me "sweet cheeks", "baby doll" or "baby cakes".

We call our son (Justin) "boo", "boo boo" or "JJ"

    and you?

What a cute post. Well, my ex bf, now friend, calls me peanut. I used to call him sugar bear, and sometimes it still slips out when I phone him. Let's see, well I have also always called my son boo, or boo-boo

My b/f has come up with quite a few names for me: snuggles, funny, and others I can't remember. But the one that he's been stuck on for a while started as Webbie (as in Debbie Webbie) and now it's just Web. It's funny at first I didn't like it, but I'm so used to it I like it now. Except sometimes he'll call me Webster - he gets yelled at for that one.

He calls me so many names that when he actually calls me Debbie, it sounds weird!!

That is so funny! My hubby will create a nickname then it morphs into totally different names over time. He used to call me Bobba, then Bubba, then Bubba-booey, then Bubbers, then bubbums, bubbarone, and finally bubbummawitz. Geez, I can't believe it has turned into so many names. I guess it took writing it down to realize how the names really have morphed! Yes, it does sound wierd when he actually calls me by my real name.

My favorite ex, still my best friend, called me "Smiley" the fist time we met and still rarely uses my name. I always thought it sounded like I was a pirate or something, but I guess it could be worse and with his accent anything sounds nice

A girl at work calls me Sunshine, which I love. Friends who have seen the not so nice side of me don't believe me. Other folks lately have called me Andy, which I also love (real name is Andrea).

Dh & I call each other "schmoopie" (after the Seinfeld episode) just to be obnoxious.

My college roommate called her boyfriend poopies and he called her creepies. It was mighty odd, if you want my opinion. No pet names here, except for my son who I call my bobola. Not sure where that name came from, it just sounds cute, which is what he is!

    Another one for me...

For some reason people at my different jobs have called me "Trouble". They are teasing me of course, but it's weird that I've had that at several jobs, I don't know why???
When I was little my Mom called me Boo Boo, because I was always falling and getting hurt. :chuckle
My son, b/f and I always call each other silly/weird names, such as: dork, weirdo, goober, krod (b/f came up with it, it's dork backwards), moron, etc. My sons school mates think he's lucky to have a mom that calls him names and vice-a-versa.

First - Mercy - I just about fell out of my chair with your avatar - too cute!! My hubby calls me by my name - very rarely anything else. Our sons however are a different story: Todd (almost 24 now) is called Todderella, Todders, Todds and Toby (19) is called Tobeezer or Tobears. These all stem from when they were little and I'm the only one to call them pet names but I'm the Mom and I can get away with it.
