Good Tuesday Morning 6-8-04

  1. Good morning all!!! I'm baaaaack.

    Had a great time. Glad to be back home though. I was a long day. There were winds in Minneapolis that delayed all flights because they were keeping only one runway open. We had to check out of the hotel at noon. Drove into the driveway 13 hours later. I'm about to drop with fatigue. But it was worth it.

    I'm going to sleep now and wake in a few hours and pick up the kids. I really missed them.

    Back to the old grind.

    I'm pathetic when I leave them. I hate the thought of them not being in their happy home where they are free and spoiled.

    Omaha, Nebraska where I was is one hour behind us which is strange. Had to reset the watches. But my body missed that hour as I crawled into bed as the sun was setting. But way up north the sun sets later than it does here. Weird big world it is.

    [font=Comic Sans MS]Morning everyone and [font=Comic Sans MS][font=Comic Sans MS]Tweeters! Isn't it funny how yesterday, when Suzanne started the thread early, no one was here and today there was a bunch of you here? No predicitibility here...that makes it fun!

    [font=Comic Sans MS]Suzanne...anything happen over there today? I want to learn more about the culture!!!! Give me time, I will think of some good questions.

    [font=Comic Sans MS]Karen...I'm with you, I'd much rather be at the beach too! Too many things to do today again now that I had a three day "break".

    [font=Comic Sans MS]Donny...how is the house painting going? Are you almost done yet?

    [font=Comic Sans MS]Good morning to everyone else!

    [font=Comic Sans MS]Didn't end up doing a whole lot yesterday......mostly just things that I had been putting off, like phone calls and more bills. I cleaned out my entire file cabinet, file by file and paper by paper. It was tedious but now it's done so I can start on the paperwork that I have to have done by Thursday for when our bankruptcy lawyer calls us for our consult over the phone. It's been so long since we originally planned on filing that we have to start over with a new consult, etc. So, I have to sit down with all of our old bills and figure out the grand totals of what we owe. This ought to have me screaming and pulling my hair out by noon! Part of the problem is that I don't have all of Bryan's information and he has to work today from 8-5 and then go do a measure tonight so the chances of me getting the info. from him are pretty slim. I can see us both up doing paperwork late Wednesday night. He still has two years of back taxes to do and I have to get the bankruptcy crud in order.

    [font=Comic Sans MS]That's the biggie today..getting that started, but then there is the living room and playroom that need dusted and the bathroom needs cleaned. I promised the kids we would sponge paint today and it's going to be another gorgeous day so I have to figure out a way for Bryce to be outside without eating everything in sight! ANy suggestions there? Speaking of that kid, he ate 7 jars of food yesterday plus five bottles and was still up once last night! I am also working on my will and have to get Bryan moving on his too! The kids are too important not to have it done. It's not that we have anything for anyone to have but I wouldn't want them getting into the wrong hands.

    [font=Comic Sans MS]Oh, hey, does anyone have a good, easy low fat banana bread recipe? I have some bananas that went caput and will be perfect for bread by tomorrow!

    [font=Comic Sans MS]Have a great one everyone!
