Good Thursday Morning 6-24-04!

  1. Hey everyone!

    jnette, that's fishballs, like meat balls. Not fish's balls. LOL

    Suzanne, don't remember them eating fish eyes, but they are like us poor folks in the south, we don't waste a single part of the animal. Ever been to a pig pickin'? Nothing wasted. Ever hear of eggs and brains?

    Nothing much going on here. Started off watching The Last Samuri and went to bed for a nap, now wide awake, so I'm off the gym. I need to do some serious work on my junk in the trunk.

    Good morning everyone! I'm glad it's finally pay day. My new job pays every other week so that's going to get some getting used to.

    Did some serious chest and biceps workout with my trainer yesterday and I'm feeling it today, dayum! It's totally worth it though. Today is cardio day so I'm planning on going for a run later. May be able to get out of work early as we only have two cases and they are both in the morning. We'll see.

    Hope you all have a great day and a great sleep for all you night people!

    Sorry Karen, usually I'm on around this time of day. I shouldn't be so narcissistic and start the thread every day. How about someone else tomorrow?

    morning everyone!

    tweety..... congrats on getting accepted into the bsn program? when you are all done, you going for master's? lol!! no pressure! i would love to get something "fun" for my birthday but dang! everyone has suggested so many books to me. maybe i'll just get the one suzanne was talking about and leave it at that for now. (course that's $90! lol!)

    ww....sorry you didn't get the job, but i know that you know everything happens for a reason. the perfect job is out there for you somewhere!

    steph...i forgot to tell you about having the baby over 40 thing. they actually found a centenarian that had a baby at 52! yep, 52! lol! birthday is on the 5th...same day i start class and bry starts his new job. to me, really our new lives is enough of a present ya know?

    [font=franklin gothic medium]everyone else...i hope you wake up to a glorious morning and make the most of your day!

    my class last night was just crazy. luckily, i have taken a cpr class before, just not a professional one. would you believe that this guy (who has 30 years experiece at the red cross, is an emt and used to be a nurse) called cpr cadio pulmonary resucitation? you wouldn't believe how he murdered integumentary system either. he was a very nice, sweet man but i don't think he should be teaching class any more. he was flipping from rescue breathing to cpr (which we didn't even end up learning last night) and back to choking. everyone was confused and frankly i am lost. i'm not worried about the test. what i am worried about is knowing how to use the skills when the time comes that i need them. (it also worries me that those around me are only worried about the test, ya know?) well...hopefully, i'll never be relying on them to save my life i'm going to try to type up all the notes i had to put in the book because half of what he taught wasn't there. this is too much like work! lol! the second part of it is monday night and we will be there until it is all done, whether it is midnight or not.

    [color=#ff8c00]i went and got my student loan all figured out and didn't have to ask for "that" much this year which is good. it really is all for chidcare. speaking of that, i have 10 days to find a sitter for these kids on tues/thurs night and it's not looking good. i'm wondering about this one classmate of mine last night and if she has classes on those nights or if she would want to do it for some extra cash. i am also going to try my landlord's daughter (as a last resort) if all else fails.

    [color=#ff8c00]*sigh* i know same old thing here from me lately. why is it so hard to find childcare? qod: for those of you with kids...what are your childcare plans for work/school? for those of you with animals, same question!

    [color=#ff8c00]so, today there is definately a nap in order for me since bryan is home. i have sanding to do since i never got that far yesterday and i have to type up those dang notes. there is a little carnival in town that we might take the kids to this weekend some time. it starts tonight so we may go tonight or we may go over the weekend.....who knows?

    [color=#ff8c00]guys....i love to see different houses, etc....can we all share pics of ours?

    [color=#ff8c00]outta here to catch up......

    [color=#ff8c00]hugs all around.............

    That book went up that much in price? Only was about $50 when I bought it on Amazon.

    Good morning everyone..................

    I am quite fortunate that I have my housekeeper stay with my kids, she doesn't mind staying when I am away. Definitely too many to leave on their own..............they are only alone for about 4 to 5 hours in the afternoon until I get home and that is more than enough. They would get into too much trouble.

    Tweety, did you have the fish b**** yet, since I get teased whenever I say the name?
  12. by   Energizer Bunny
    Suzanne...I looked on because that is usually where I find the best price.....I'm talking about the one with the medical terminology, etc. Dang..can't remember the name of it now.

    I think Bry looked over your suggestions for food, but I don't know for sure since I got home so late last night and he is sleeping in once again (while I take care of kiddos, as usual).
