    HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!
    Good morning / afternoon.
I hope that today is an enjoyable day for all. I have consumed SOO much chocolate throughout the day that I feel very sick! Yes, it's my own fault- and I'm very silly BUT it's the one day of the year that I'm (supposidly) not ment to feel guilty eating chocolate for breakfast! Worked an AM shift today and the chocolate flowed freely. Nearly every nurse brought in chocolates so we were swimming in wrappers! I was nominated to float to our oncology ward today (from cardiology) but a few of my lovely patients told my charge nurse "No, I won't let you take her" so she rolled her eyes and picked someone else. wow. Fair enough- I was in the middle of dispensing 30 odd medications for this patient!
I'm home alone this easter - everyone else is at the beach - so Grandma called to say hello and wish me a happy easter. If I wasn't already feeling the love from my patients today, grandma certainly kept the smile on my face. My grandma is the greatest and i love her with all my heart - she lives a few hours away so any chance i get to visit her i grasp. :kiss
I'll jump off my soapbox now.
Hope today is one of your better ones. Stay safe, love, laugh and smile

    Good morning!

Rachel, I know all about those chocolate hangovers, having had a few of those myself.

Off to yoga here soon, then hope to get some chemistry done.

    Happy Easter!

to all who celebrate this marvelous and special holiday, i wish you a very happy easter !!!

sadly, it is so foggy and drizzly out there, you can't see the house across the street. bummers,. was hoping to take a little drive down off the mtn. to warmer climes where the trees are budding and tulips are out in full, and go out to eat. maybe later.. but they're calling for rain all day.. :stone .. so i might just stay put. wah ! wish i had some of suzanne's mousse .....

Happy Easter to one and all.
What a nice day here so far, windy and cool, but no rain as yet.
Dinner is well in hand, the more I look at what I have cooked, the more I wonder if I have enough. Don't laugh, these guys ate 24 hamburgers yesterday in one setting.
I hope each and every one of you has a happy, healthy, and safe day.
Good luck on tests, hope the posters who are working all have easy patients.

    happy easter to all

slowly getting back to normal, enjoyed my visit in Buffalo NY and catching up with gossip with my friends the only downside was my flight on the wednesday was cancelled due to snow and then on the thursday it took me 24 hours to get back to England with the worst wait I have ever had of 12 hours in Newark airport :angryfire Not much information to why the delay and the gate moved approx 4 times, still nice to be home.

Hope everyone has a good weekend and chat later

Glad you're back home safe and sound and that you were able to touch base with good friends while here. Airport delays are the pits... :stone sorry about all the waiting and hassle. Relax and enjoy your day.

Happy Easter from me as well.

I fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillow last night. I'm getting old or something - two days in a row of work and I was wiped out.

We did go to a lovely Passover Seder last night.

Headed to a breakfast at church this morning before the services. We used to do sunrise services overlooking a beautiful canyon here but I think the boomer crowd and younger, who are not used to getting up at the crack of dawn to milk the cows, had too hard a time with getting out of bed early.

I forgot to fill the Easter baskets last night so I got OOB at 6 to do it . .. I hear the pitter patter of little feet and see my son standing in the hallway looking at me as I fill his basket and he says "what are you doing mommy?". He was on his way to go potty . . . I just told him it was a surprise and go back to bed after he finished in the bathroom, which he did. Then I deposited all the baskets on all the kid's beds.

We didn't color eggs yet either . . maybe this afternoon.

The rain has stopped. Maybe the sun will peek out.

Hope you all are enjoying this day.
