Good Sunday Morning- March 11th

  1. Good morning family. Don't forget...spring ahead. As Maxine says, "Spring ahead. Fall back. That's my idea of an exercise program."
I hope you all have a wonderful God blessed brand new day.

Good morning, Marilyn! Thank you for starting the thread with that positive message! It's only 9:40pm here, and we're FINALLY in the house, relaxing! The talent show was corny, corny, corny! There were some good spots, though, lol! Our ds sang well, we were proud!

But I'm still TIRED, so I'm going to bed. See you all later! D

    GOOD MORNING, LITTLE PEEPS!!

WAKEY!!WAKEY!!WAKEY!!! All of you Day time Peeps!!

I'm in the last hour of my shift!! It's not easy to fit 8 hrs of work into only 7!! Although, I'm not really complaining about working an hour less!!

I haven't been around much the last couple of days--need to catch up on the threads!!

Compassion--Thanks for starting the thread. I did remember the time--I only hope the Day shift coming in remembers!!
Well, it looks like all is OK as some are starting to come in even as I type.

I had a BUSY nite as I sort of said---lots of heavy pt's on the floor right now.
Trachs, lots of feedings, antibiotics, etc!!

Well, since they're coming in all ready, I'd better get going myself!!

I hope you all have a Wonderful Day!!

    good <yawn> morning.
Ended up having friends over last night so I went to bed around 11, midnight the new time. Had to get up at 6 to get my daughter to the trade show where she's being a hair model. Downtown is about 25 minutes away, by the time I'd driven her there and came home, I felt as tired as if I'd worked a night shift.

Gorgeous day here today, above zero. Will have to go out for a walk for sure.

    Hi everyone,

I'm at work on this most beautiful, sunny, warm Spring day here in the UK. The best day of the year so far & I'm at work!!!!!

It's very quiet - only 7 patients & 3 nurses - I'm boss today so it's paperwork & general stuff for me. It's going to be a slow old shift - still might get a chance to catch the England v France rugby match, some of the patients are bound to be watching it!

Hope you all have a great day wherever you are xxx

It's a gorgeous day here too - cold but sunny. Been a really quiet weekend, and I am just about to cook my Sunday dinner - anyone know how to cook Duck? lol

Score the skin & rub salt in it, roast in a hot oven 15 mins per pound & 15 over. Make sure it's on a rack to keep the fat away from the meat:wink2:

Yes, I'm still alive, and yes, I'm still CLEANING !!! :trout:

    Aaaaaaaaarghhhh!

The kitchen and living room are DONE.. spic and span and shiny from top to bottom. All the dust bunnies have been coralled and disposed of along with the cobwebs. All the furniture dusted, oiled, and poished. All the nic nacs washed piece by piece. Today I'm working on my bedroom. Sheets, blankets, dustruffle, etc. all have been washed and the bed freshly made. Windows and curtains and blinds washed, vacumed under the bed and in all the little hard to get to places, everything's been dusted and cleaned. Only have one small area left to do.. my computer stand, a little end table, and my organ... they all need dusting and a damp cloth wipe. Even took down three bags of winter clothes to the basement this morning to make room in my closet. It's suppose to reach seventy on Tuesday. Wooohooooooo!!!

OK.. break is over. Back at it before I lose my momentum. :stone

Next weekend is the front bedroom... that's going to be a humdinger! :uhoh21:
That's where I have to rearrange things for Mom.. we have to go buy a new matress yet, too.

DH still has to build a ramp up to the front porch, and install the bath gripbars yet. After the front bedroom is done, I'll start on the outside entryway walls and get those cleaned..take down the winter wreaths and decos and get up the SPRING ones.

Maybe I'll still have time to put out a few pieces of the yard furniture, we'll see. The bathroom gets saved for last. Need to get that sparkling still, too. Wash the shower curtain, and do all the little "extras" you keep putting off. It's a tiny bathroom, so it won't take too long.

OK, time's really up. Back to work!
