Good news!

  1. Hi everyone,

As I am sure some of you know, I've been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years now. Last Fall, I had tesing done by my OB/GYN, he did a pelvic/vaginal ultrasound and some blood work and diagnosed me with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS for short. Well, he recommended at that time that seeing as how my menstural cycles have been pretty much non-existent that he induce a period with Provera and then start me on Clomid.

I am a procrastinator so last Friday, I called for an appointment cause I will be 30 in a few months and better start doing something. So, I went to see him this past Monday. I mentioned to him that I've heard Glucophage has helped women with PCOS regulate their menstrual cycles and conceive a child. He said that he's heard the same thing but didn't know a whole lot about it. So, he referred me to a Reproductive Endocrinologist in Cleveland. I set up an appointment for July 1st at 10 am. My OB/GYN also told me that he didn't think that I'd have a problem conceiving and should be able to have a baby! I hope he's right! All I'm asking God for is one healthy child.
