    Hi sirI and jmg!

Not much going on around here.

Have to drop some paperwork off at my future place of employment.

Mostly just going to take it easy today, no studying, kind of a summer vacation.

It's a bit odd, the thought of having a "summer vacation". I find myself thinking about cleaning out desks and heading to the state park pictured above, which I did many times in elementary school.

    I'm up and at 'em!

Got a load of wash in the dryer.
Fed the cats and gave Fred his insulin.

Yesterday youngest ds was offered part-time work in the IT dept where he's been working on a special puter project.
He'll be there 8 hrs/day, get paid for 4 and the other 4 are considered an internship.
He's happy, although he has to get up early all summer! (left alone, he won't get up till noon-ish )
When he starts college in the fall they'll readjust the hours to his schedule.
Makes min. wage but it's a foot in the door.

Neither of our kids is interested in being healthcare workers.
    They're puter geeks.

We hope to be on the road by noon; the Regional Park is only an hour away.

I think it is great Dianah that kids have to get up early. My husband is appalled that kids sleep in - and he considers 7 a.m. sleeping in. He grew up on a farm.

BUT - yesterday I heard a great story about him from his sister and he doesn't know I know. He was left in charge of milking the cow once while his parents went to the ram sale (sheep) . . . he squirted a bit of milk into the pail and then filled the rest with water so he wouldn't have to sit there for so long!!!

So, farm kids aren't perfect either!!!! Yeah!! Can't wait to tell our kids THAT story.

I finished two chapters on nursing econ . ... did my quiz from last week . . now finishing up the bills.

THEN we are going outside in the fresh air . . me, the pups and Danny.

Enjoy the sun, the pups and Danny, Steph!

    A friend's 8mo pug puppy is sick w/Parvo.
Pup is being treated, but it's still touch-and-go.
Apparently 1/3 of them die of it, even with treatment.
    So sad.
    Hope she pulls through.

    Afternoon everyone.

Work night for me tonight and tomorrow night then off for the weekend. I will have to get somethings done around this mess of a house. Specifically finishing cleaning out the baby's room, and then deciding on a paint color. Then DH can paint when he is off on weekends.

Patty I saw you asked yesterday what state my bil is in. We are in Michigan. I don't remember the laws about singing yourself in and then trying to sign yourself out. I hope they don't let him out. He needs all the help he can get right now.

My mil and fil just aren't handling this well at all. I just wish they wern't in denial about things all the time.

Well I hope everyone has a good day.

    good morning dears...

i wake up with the mind to tell you father's words "this life is beuatifull because is my life and sun is up".

you know why kids are happy? because they don't think in negative way, because they are amazed about everythink and all, because each day is a new discover, because this world is sooo big so need to be discoverd and enjoy.

bad words hurts, negative words hurts, bad thoughts hurts, hurt people modify energies a child... be inocent ask clarify and don't hurt... give inocent hugs and laugh from all your heart, love complet, laugh complet and cry from bottom of heart and pass by... is sun again laugh...

i will go to work on my shelter today.... we need good vibes there, people are so hurted, their souls was poisoned, my hugs are not enough, my coffes and perfumes and songs could not took away so easy the poisson put in them minds and hearts .

i work with my dh on positive thinking... and to say thank you each day for what we have....look at sun he bright for you... look at flowers smell nice... we can live...happy depend just of us....look at me.... if i could live like that and i am could also... be good be in love with love! where is my inocent hug and my coffe???

Di.. so glad you enjoyed the links ! I kinda figured you would.

Now enjoy your time away! Revel in the sunshine, the vibes, the music, the comeraderie !
    Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!

No time to address all.. things to do, things to do...dh is still down and hurting bad with the sciatic nerve,dd called and is down with a slight fever, sore throat, and muscles that hurt so bad she can barely move...Minnie is always wanting me for something or another, Charlie is meowing at the door demanding to come in and be fed, Mutti's foley bag needs emptying.... always something.. no rest for the weary... none. Nada. No wonder I slink off to bed at 8 pm....I need my space, my alone time.. sweet bliss of sleep and and not being "needed"... at least for awhile.. until the alarm goes off at 0500.. and it begins anew.

    Catch you all later!

Hi everybody! Well the state surveyors finally left last night at 8 pm after being there since LAST TUESDAY! I posted details in Sunday post. It was 3 of them and they stayed each night till 8 and 9 pm. Of course we in management had to stay too. Our administrator almost fell apart. We were able to get the 2 immediate jeopardies changed to F's. And got 6 D's. They didn't find anything wrong with my MDS's, RAP's or care plans. But the whole experience was soooo exhausting. We are a good clean facility with an excellent reputation in the community. These surveyors were truly " out for blood ". Hopefully they will accept our plan of correction and NOT come back!
Sorry this was long. Guess I needed to vent. Thanks for " listening " and have a restful evening........
