Well, I'll add my voice to the Tuesday thread.

I have my first clinical experience tomorrow, just a half day. Its starts at 7am...but I should leave at 5am to make sure I get there early with public transportation...and I like to have 2 hours in the morning...which means I'll get up at about 3am...which is about 4 hours from now.

Oh well. See you all in four hours.

    Good morning! :kiss

I am planning on working a Tuesday double shift of 16 hours (6am to 10pm). Please pray for me that all goes well with the patients, family members, and entire staff.

Thank you for starting the thread, Zoe.

I wish you much luck on your first clinical, Joe.

    Have a great day, everyone!

Good luck tommorrow Joe and Commuter.

I'm about to retype my research paper (15 pages) that got lost when I spilled scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner on my laptop. Right now I'm using my old, very slow, missing a few important keys (like a spacebar) laptop.

Hope you all have a good day/night!

    good morning everyone...
its more like good night here in the burbs (11:30) but i'll play along, since it's so rare for me to make a weekday appearance on the gm thread...thanks for firing it up zbb....
exam is over and done with...looking forward to getting the results back (in 2 months?!? dont they know that people are waiting on this???) left the test center on saturday to see more police in one place than i have ever seen in my life and the state police in full riot gear with really big sticks marching up the street...turns out there was a war protest and march planned...we skeedaddled out of there before traffic snarled up...spent the rest of the weekend relaxing...
spent the evening cooking a good home cooked dinner (candied squash...mmmm...) and getting caught up on the household chores that have fallen by the wayside...pups now have clean bedding to go with their clean coats, and the house no longer looks quite so much like a tornado went thru it...
gotta run for now, the dogs are dancing for their goodnite walk, then i should be off to bed myself...hope everyones week is off to a good start!!!!

Dria, I hope you don't have to wait the WHOLE two months before hearing something!
One would think, in this day and age of technology, that results should be received faster!
    Crossing fingers for you.

Joe, hope your clinical goes well.
3 a.m. wakey??? You poor thing (but I know you'll survive it).

bethin, hope you can salvage your work, bummer of an accident :uhoh21: !!!

commuter, sleep well and may tomorrow go smoothly for you and your pts.

Good morning to you, Miss Zoe, and thank you for starting the GM thread.

    Folded clothes
    watched Dancing With The Stars,
picked up ds from Police Explorers.
Time to get ready for bed.

See you all in the REAL tomorrow!

Morning again! Hello Commuter Dria bethin dianah!

Commuter it sounds like you'll be even more tired than I am now!

bethin I hope it's just the keyboard that's damaged.

Well, I'm mostly awake. I'll be glad next year, when I don't have a late evening class before clinicals. Gotta review what assessments I'm doing tomorrow, along with a ridiculously long care plan form.

Zoe, thanks for starting the thread!!

Good Morning to you all; Hope everyone has been having the beginnings of a good week; I'm at work; Busy as usual; I'm up for next admit. Won't say too much else--don't want any jinxes!!
I really need to get out on time as DH has an early tee off time this AM. He picks me up, so I need to be out in a timely manner. I am usually always out on time.
I'll have the day to myself with hime off golfing.

I was going to post some piccys of myself in costume from Saturday nite; However, I am having a problem with our new Puter, so not sure if I will be successful; we'll see.
    I'll try later from home;

    Need to run along now
You all have a good day

    See you later

    good (tuesday) evening from me!

thanks for starting the thread, zoe.

thanks also folks for your kind words and well wishes yesterday re my hip.

that cortisone injection yesterday seems to have worked it's magic! i slept comfortably most of the night and no pain as such in this ol hip today! just some tenderness at the injection site and a bit of achey-ness (is there even such a word?! lol) otherwise, no problem! hope it continues this way. or even better! permanently!

just finished tea here. we had tinned salmon and salad. i love salads!

we went out to lunch and had mexican. i have no idea what it was called, but know it tasted delicious!
bought two sets of sheets on sale for up to 70% off the normal retail price. 'sheridan' brand sheets. very nice! excellent quality. smooth as silk. that's the way i like to shop. quality at an affordable and fair price!

another glorious day here today. poor folks in queensland received a battering from a huge storm though. it wracked total havoc and destroyed many homes etc. the east coast of australia has really copped it this year. must be you mob up/over sending it across the pacific!!

i read on yesterday's thread about the electric blanket fire! i'm so glad no-one was injured and it was handled without too much damage. kwagner, i wouldn't blame you if you ditched the blankets from all beds! that must have been scary! we have electric blankets, but they are only turned on to warm the bed prior to going to bed. at that point, they're turned off.

mlf, wonderful to read that you have a place now!

compassion, great news! am happy for you. keep well.

steph, hope the young'un is improved now.

sorry not to individually address everyone, not ignoring you!
    just lazy! :trout:

    hope everyone enjoys their tuesday!

    stay safe and well!

    cheeers from down under! :flowersfo

to all my dear friends on
I pray your day is just as you planned it without too many hassles along the way. Those that work nights I hope your snooze is uninterupted and you wake feeling fresh.

My day is looking purdy darn good although I do want to try and see some post bereavement families. Work this week has been kind. shhhhhh

Getting cold outside with temps at freezing or a wee bit below BUT I LOVE this time of the year. Bring on the snow I say. *ducks*

Grace I have been following the news on Down Under. YES the weather has been very weird to say the least.

    Take care one and all.
