Speaking of DOGMEAT............. see how you guys are???

    Here we go again.

I come home and want to play,
all the Georgie Porgie's run away..................

That's why I don't mention folks in my posts because someone invariably says "what about me".

Of course you realize I'm the only important one here.

you know tweety, you just can't go wrong going for the bsn. in spite of all the heated debates re: its' worth, anything one does in life to better themself personally is a major accomplishment. definitely go for the bsn.

    love always,

I've been looking into taking a course this fall. I've a couple of classes left to get into the local ADN-RN to BSN program. Figure I could finish those classes this year and get into the program next year. SOMEONE PLEASE TALK ME OUT OF IT! I go through phases every now and then and get a wild hair up my butt to work on my BSN, but laziness prevails. The RN to BSN courses seem so horribly tedious and irrellevent (sp?).

Anyway, going bowling tonight. I'm so tired. But we lost a bunch last week and our standing isn't good, so it's o.k. to bowl bad and have fun. LOL
Oh, it's always good to go for that BSN, if you can! I am hemming and hawing about it myself. I keep telling myself I have another year or so to decide. After that, it really doesn't make sense for me to go. I hope to be retired or at least semi-retired in the next several years (3-8 years approx.)

Leslie, you and Liza aren't helping!!!

I always encourage BSNs in those "debates". wink.

The courses I have left to take are Statistics and something like Philosphy. Barf, gag, yuk.

Thanks jnette. Wises words as always. I've always enjoyed taking classes. I seriously think some of the things we study are bogus, not statitics, but the nursing courses.

Here's your project "Utilize the nursing process to come up with a care plan for a homelss woman". Here's my care plan "consult social services". LOL

    i knwo you're playing, friend.

yes, i know that if i chose to go back to school, it would be just for me, and on my own timetable.. no rush, no pressure. i could be a professional student in a heartbeat that way.

dang, leslie... that really sux about your former employer! have you brought this to the attn. of your attorney ??? what does she say about this?

man... so much for standing up for what's right. but that's ok... what's right is right, and this shall be resolved. and good shall prevail. (((hugs)))

well, here i am, checking in late again as usual.

jnette loved the chicken. you and leslie could pick your mushrooms and send them my way. i'll have bethanne cook them for me.

kim did you make it to the clinic with no problems? did everything go alright?

suzanne i love the photos. in fact, i'd like to see more.

leslie (er dogmeat) look at the message i gave jnette. it never seems to fail lately. when i get on this thread, i seem to get a whole truckload of interferences, and then it takes me forever to do my post. oh fran. quit your complaining! oops! sorry! and i'm soo sorry to hear the bad news. i have one word for that type of activity. well, maybe two. selfish, greedy & heartless!!!!!! well, maybe 8.

2ndgeneration it's probably in the middle of the night where you are, but it's 17:28 here.

tweeters did ya make it through your day alright? i bet you were pooped when you were finished. were ya able to think???

hannahsmom you go girl. it's never too late.

liza glad to see you're back in action

julielpn don't ya just hate the frizzies? my oldest daughter and i have had them all our lives, but mine has calmed down since i'm older. i give most of the credit to alberto vo5

eltrip good going, girl. i'm happy for you and your mom.

deb i think jnette is right; especially if money is tight right now. i wish i lived closer. i have a heavy duty, 3 cycle topload washer in excellent working condition. i'm not allowed to have it in my apartment anymore since it has been refurbished. apartment complex rules. but definitely congrats on the deliveries. ob/gyn is my favorite type of work. i love to handle babies. they're such cute little critters.

melissarn so you're already getting the eye, hunh? if ya see him again, tell him i said to get lost. you have more interesting things to do with your time.

anywho, now to the question of the day. i have always loved to drive. so when i got a job a a bus driver i was happy. i was really tired at the end of every summer, though, because we drove 6 and sometimes 7 days a week state to state.
i got a speeding ticket once when my kids were little. i had an old clunker of a car, and was coasting down a hill to gain momentum to climb the long hill ahead of me. i never saw the radar trap. i made a promise to myself then and there i would not earn myself a ticket again, ever, and i havn't.
when a driver annoys me, i call the driver a twit. then i go about my business. i have always refused to drink and drive too. too risky. both for me and the public. not only that, but when i had my cdl (commercial drivers license) the law in new york state all you needed to do was have .08 % alcohol in your blood, and goodbye license and livlihood.

    phew! i'm done.

    Egads...I'm a bit late here aren't I?
Just wanted to pop in and say hello. i am sooooo tired. Should be studying some more for micro exam tomorrow but I can't, I can't, I can't. My brain i s too old for this. Why am I putting myself thru all this? arrrgggghhh.

Jnette--wish I had seen that piccy this morning. Would have started my day with a big laff since the coffee wasn't working yet!

Well, like I said just wanted to pop in and say hi and let everyone I'm alive, well, and kicking (and screaming, and kicking & cursing, blah blah blah).
