  1. good morning everyone,

still can't sleep guess the nap today was a bad idea. oh well!!!

sounds like everyone had a fantastic day yesterday with family and friends.

if you are one who will be out early shopping, be careful and have a good time. i have to say that i am not one who wants to get up early and hit the stores the day after tg. many due but to much of a crowd for me that early.

for those working today may you have a great day at work. hope things go smoothly.

we have a family gathering today. will leave town about 11am and not sure when we will get home. sat. is decorating time. it's suppose to be in the 60's here. going to put up outside lights while it's warm instead of doing it in the cold. (like usual).

this is the first year in awhile that i am finally starting to enjoy the holidays. there has been so much going on this year things are tight and not even sure what we will do about gifts for the kids; but some how i seem to be at peace with a lot of things. any hoo.

we cooked so much yesterday and have leftovers i won't have to cook for a week. it was really nice. the oldest kids got along no fighting yesterday was really nice.

here is some breakfast for you all: sorry don't have the pic. still working on getting puter' back together.

coffee, tea, milk, juices, hot chocolate. donuts, bagels, eggs, bacon, any type of cereal, potatoes any way u want them. hope that will hold u over for awhile.

i am hoping by the end of next week to have our puter' back from the repair shop then the kids will have their's and we will have ours. kids had puter' most day yesterday.

well i am going to get going and try to get some sleep before it gets to late. will bbl.

    Morning Angie

Just spent two hours looking for my glasses after I took out my contacts.

I don't think I'll be shopping today. Did need to go to the scrapbook store but I just don't feel well. Left lower back is killing me. I've been taking vicodin q4 and it hasn't touched it. Maybe kidney infection? Never had pain like this. Better get better as I have to work the weekend.

Think I'm gonna crawl into bed with some vicodin, a heating pad and Frasier Season 8 DVD in my laptop.

Good morning. I hope everyone had a pleasant holiday.

I was written up by an aide yesterday evening; in fact, I was unaware that aides were allowed to write-up nurses. I simply ripped up the write-up and threw it in the garbage can. Go figure.

that is a new one for me also. i thought that the nurses were in charge not the aides.

    Here's a hug. :icon_hug: I hope you feel better.

I have been suffering from low back pain and neurogenic claudication for some time, and I can attest to the fact that it takes a toll on our lives. I really hope the pain goes away.

Mornin' y'all! I am again..... Not even 5 AM, no school & I am up.

DH just left for work, so I'm going to get some study time in while it's quiet.

Hope everyone's day is a good one!

TheCommuter: This is almost comical.....whatever happened after you ripped it and trashed it?

Good morning this day-after-stuffing-ourselves-sick-with-turkey-and-trimmings day. I'm still sleepy/lazy. Going to be doing visits today. Usually about six patients to be seen. No way would I have braved the stores this morning. I'd hate to even think about how it is right now. Not my cuppa tea, for sure. Makes it hard to remember "The reason for the season" when you're in that rush, doesn't it? Love the Christmas music, though. Well, gotta get myself moving. You all have a wonderful day today.

    d3 back at work. :smilecoffeeIlovecof

I disgraced myself by opening my mouth yesterday during a staff meeting (see thread) I'll have to see what the fallout from that was. :stone . What can I say, work makes me wig out. I blurted out that I was looking for work elsewhere. Prolly wasn't a good idea in itself. Good news is that I'm off for a good long stretch after today.

Marc had his thyroid biopsy yesterday. The surgeon says that he won't have results for 3 more weeks. I had to field calls for relatives all last evening passing that information on.

I've been worrying about money because I'm not being paid today and because Marc's salary is mostly eaten up by loan payments. I thought that we'd be able to stretch my last paycheck out but it's not working the way I planned. Need money for food and pharmaceuticals. My grandma -- fortunately -- is going to help us out.

    Morning, All:
Adrien, I feel your pain. I am being forced to do an add-on to the Title Pawn loan today I already have on my car, because what little money I earned from that temporary job is gone and my first payday from my new job is still a week away. In the meantime, I have to get prescriptions filled, put gas in my car and pay the daily bus fare to and from the park and ride near my home next week. Not to mention the fact that my two cats are out of food. I had promised myself that I wasn't going to take any more loans out on my car, but I don't have any other choice. I was planning to use my credit card in order to survive until payday, but received a rather nasty surprise yesterday when I discovered that the bank had wiped out what little credit I had left on it by tacking on their "Annual Maintenance Fee". Neither my sister or son has the money to loan me, either, so here I go...deeper into debt.

So SICK of being broke. It seems that the harder I try, the worse things get. :angryfire
