nothing special going on here. no blood, no chemo; my patient with a radiation implant, actually had the source removed at 2300, so the precautions were dc'ed which makes life easier.
my girl who is 2days s/p chemo is better tonite b/c mom is staying with her.

nothing special going on at home; i think i mentioned that dh took down christmas decos, so that's done.

i will bring you virtual breakfast, tho
fresh coffee, tea, milk, soft drinks,
eggs--any way you want them; french toast, pancakes, waffles
    crepes, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, hot/cold cereal;
    a big beautiful apple pancake,
sausage, bacon, ham or canadian bacon
donuts, bagels & cream cheese & maybe some lox for them

so enjoy the food; see you all later.

to all yet to come--have a great day!!

I'm glad your staffing is appropriate tonight Mary.

I would have posted earlier but I was temporarily without internet access. Thank God I wasn't trying to write a paper. I'm lost without my internet access. One major disadvantage of distance learning.

Anyway, I just got back from the gym, going to have some oatmeal and eggs, with a tad bit of coffee. Go to bed about 9 or 10 and hope to sleep until time to go to work tonight.

    Have a great day.

    Good morning all!!

Mary Ann, that breakfast sounds wonderful!! I had oatmeal, trying to get the fiber in my diet. It was okay!!

I didn't get on here much yesterday, didn't have time. It was busy at work, we were available for immunizations if anyone wanted to make up the day we had to be closed because of flooding!! We had several come in. I'm in the office today, so I'll catch up on paperwork!

They are drywalling the upstairs now!! I'm thinking I may be painting in a few weeks!! The addition is coming along and they are showing up everyday, so it's nice to come home and see what is new!

We have the viewing for dh's grandmother tonight and funeral tomorrow, so I'll be busy the next few days!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday!

well, well, well, well, well. good morning everyone. mary, it's very good to say good morning to you instead of good afternoon or nothing at all. i'm glad you had an easier night last night too.

tweety, did you have a power outage? we had one here a few days ago. it took the crews 5 days before electricity was restored to all the customers. thankfully they got mine on the first day. my concentrator relies on it. we had a severe ice storm here that knocked a lot of trees and limbs down, and communities were complaining about the length of time it took to restore their services. it was the utility company's fault. they made cutbacks in personnel earlier, and didn't call for backup.

good morning dixie. i'm glad to hear your remodeling is coming along well. i love the smell of new lumber. there's something about it's freshness.

Good morning Fran! No power outage, just ISP proplems.

I have to say on a routine basis they are pretty good hear at fixing power outages. We had a neighborhood transformer burst, putting several of us out of power. It was fixed within hours. However, during the hurricane power outages people were out of power for up to a week or longer.

Have a great day. This is the going to be the last of our 80 degree days so I hear. The northerners are sending a cold front our way. But I can't complain, this has been the longest January warm stretch since I can remember.

Well everyone cant stay long. It's been raining since early last night and our basement is flooded. We have been cleaning up water since 6 am and it's still pouring in.

My back will be out and I will be down by this afternoon. I still have 2 papers to write and get turned it. If my back goes down that means having to call off work. I can't be down in my back and lift a 70 lbs. child.

Well have to go dump more water from shop vac.

will try to catch u later

    Angie

PS--Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning everyone, Akcarmen, hope all goes well with the basement.

This is my first post on the good morning thread. Today I start classes to get my BSN. I'm kinda nervous, not knowing what to expect. Oh well, it will all go well, although I am not looking forward to writing papers and doing projects again.

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Which Northerners? It's 68F here!

I can't believe the weather the past three days. I've been roaming around in my "wife-beater" and shorts and sandals! In Buffalo! In the middle of January!

Compare this to last year when my heinie nearly froze off from under 7 layers of clothing! Bizzare I tell you! All we have is a wind-advisory --- 45-50 mph winds.

I'll be heading out to buy me books and supplies today. I'm triple checking my bank balance just to be sure. Books are expensive

Sorry to hear about all that rain and flooding. Hope it disappears soon!

Y'all take care now - I'm gonna get ready and head out, make the best of this weather while it is still here ...

    Good morning everyone!

Roy, I know how you feel about the price of books. Have some great hand-me-downs for next semester (providing of course they don't change the book requirement).

nursemary9 glad you're had a good night and thanx for the breakfast.

    3rdshiftguy have a good sleep!

phn92 sorry to read about your dh grandmother's passing.

Fran, hope you're able to defrost soon!

akcarmean, rotton luck w/ ur basement- hope the rain stops soon.

nurseboy1- good luck with your classes

Fun2care congrats on your English paper!

    barefootlady glad ur feeling better!

If I missed anyone- so sorry but the post was getting too long!!
